*Alexander's POV*
"Are you crying?" I heard from right next to me. Damn it! I was hoping she hadn't noticed.
"Hey! I bet you cried the first time you saw this movie too! That was a sad story," I quickly retorted.
"It's a story about developing a great love and then losing it, but he fought to get her back. Of course I cried," I smiled at the way she said this; first serious and then humorous.
"It was a good story. Very believable. A love like that is possible," I wasn't the type of guy who would cry about a movie or in front of anyone else for that matter, but this was a story about a guy losing his girl and then fighting to get her back. For some reason I felt like this related to me in some way. I certainly wanted to get my girl back even though we had been very young when we had parted.
"Well, it's called acting. So what do you want to watch next?" She quickly brushed it off.
"Not another sad love story again. How about that one vampire movie you keep talking about?"
"Well, that's another love story. What about 'Scary Movie?'" She recommended.
"I love those movies! They're stupid, but they have their funny moments." I nodded towards her and she stood up to put it into her DVD player. "After this movie you can get your stuff and get ready at my house. Everyone likes to meet up there and all the girls and guys get ready then we go out."
"Oh, wow! Is it really that late?" She looked at the clock. I automatically knew what she was thinking about; the old days and how we could spend hours together just watching movies when we were kids. "Yeah, I'll get my stuff ready. I didn't pay attention to the time," She scrambled off the bed, but I quickly grabbed her wrist to stop her.
I grinned at her and said," We have enough time. If you don't have anything to wear it's okay; I still have your dresses at my house." I quickly pulled her back on the bed and turned back to the TV.
"I probably have something in my closet. Please don't tell me that I have to dress trashy?" She seemed uncomfortable with the thought of having to wear anything so exposing.
"No, whatever you're comfortable in," I quickly told her. I would not want her to wear anything like all the other girls at the club. I especially didn't want another guy looking at her as if she could belong to them. Not that I considered her property, it's just I didn't want her to be anyone's girl but mine.
We turned back to the TV. We had been watching movies in her room all day and I have to say that I did not get bored one bit. She was lying on her stomach while I was sitting up so that I could discreetly look at her.
Her long black hair hung around her and she quickly tied it into a messy bun. She was not wearing any makeup, but her face was smooth and blemish free, her cheeks had a red tint to them making it look like she was blushing and her eyes were their vibrant hazel with her long thick lashes brushing her cheek every time she looked down. She was still wearing her tank top and boxer shorts, but her top had risen up in the back revealing the smooth curve of her back that led to her butt.
Okay! I really have to stop staring at her like that; especially since she keeps telling me that she's not looking for anyone right now.
I plop down on the bed next to her so that I would stop staring and I enjoy the rest of the movie with her, both of us bursting into laughter every once in a while.
Once the movie was over, I waited for her outside her room so that I could let her shower and change. I quickly texted Justin that we were still on for tonight and I stepped out into the hallway. As I waited in the hallway, I looked at the countless pictures that hung on the walls.
