*Andrea's POV*
I woke up at 8:30 the next morning, but I was still exhausted considering that I had come home at almost 1:30 this morning. Only seven hours of sleep. Not enough for me, but whenever I wake up I can never go back to sleep. I can't even take naps during the day. Well, I guess I just have to get over it and get up. I can enjoy this peaceful day considering that I had an email stating that class was canceled today.
I grabbed my iPhone and saw that I had a text message. Hm, I wonder who texted me? Like I really had to guess! It was Alexander.
Alexander: Good morning Sunshine! :D
I smiled and quickly replied.
Me: Thanks for the ride home last night. Sorry I went inside quickly, it's just that it would have gotten awkward with Jason and I didn't want to deal with his teasing.
Alexander: No need to thank me. I was more than happy to give you a ride home. :)
I left our conversation at that and plugged my phone into its dock so that I could hear my music as I cleaned myself up in the bathroom. Afterwards I put in my earphones and made my way down stairs to make breakfast.
I started singing as I made my way into the kitchen. When I saw Jason in there scavenging for food I took out my ear buds and hung them over m shoulder.
"Morning, monster," I teased.
"HAHA, you're soooo funny," he said sarcastically.
"Yeah, I think so. What's up with you?" I asked while I scrunched up my face at his words.
"Nothing. Just hungry. And Rebecca is coming to visit in a bit so that we can talk," he told me and he made a face of his own.
"I'll make breakfast. You'll probably burn something anyway," he nodded at this. "Who arranged this visit?" I asked out of curiosity.
"I did. We need to get things settled and she's been bugging me so I thought I should just get it over with. You might not want to be here when she comes."
"Why she'll think I'm another one of your whores again and then threaten to beat me up? She's one psycho girlfriend you got there," I said with an amused smirk, remembering the first encounter I had with Rebecca.
Jason laughed and said, “She does have her crazy moments.”
We laughed for a bit about it, then he announced, “I’m going to take a shower, that way I won’t be able to burn anything. I’ll be down in a bit.”
I eagerly waved him away and he glared at me before heading upstairs. I plugged in my phone to our downstairs dock and I began cooking breakfast.
As I cooked, I began to dance and sing with every song that came on. I was in a really good mood today.
I was just starting to make the eggs when I heard the door bell ring.
“I’ll get it!” Jason yelled to be heard over my music. I didn’t mind because I was still dancing along to my music.
Just then “Get Down on it” by Kool & the Gang came on and I immediately started moving to the music. My parents had always played various types of old school music when I was younger, so I had picked up most of their songs, but I still liked my different types of music.
I was such in a good mood that I hadn’t paid attention to who had come in the door.
*Alexander’s POV*
I had decided to surprise Andrea and Jason by stopping by early and giving them some items for breakfast.
I walked up their drive way with my hands full of bagels, donuts, orange juice, and coffee cups. I could hear music playing in the house. Hmm, maybe they had already eaten? Oh, well I guess they can still use this stuff for another time.
