(Sabine pov)

I open my eyes and gasp at what surrounds me. The scenery is not the Ghost, but none the less is familiar. Mandolore? I haven't been here since when I was a cadet at the Imperial Academy here. My homeworld!

I'm still wearing my customized, traditional armour and helmet too, so I feel SOOOO at home again. Then I look around and realize that I'm in the Death Watch's training camp. I studied it as a record from the Clone Wars. What the-

"Intruder. Intruder." An alarm sounds. Karabast. That would be me.

Immediately, before I can even pull out my pistols, I am surrounded by Death Watch warriors. They all point their blasters at me and I sigh and raise my hands in surrender.

One warrior wearing a Mandolorian helmet approaches me and takes my pistols. He or she aims one at my head. "Where did you steal that armour, Republican?"

Is it a he or a she? I can't tell. There must be a voice scrambler in their helmet. Republican?  "Steal it?" I'm outraged, not even caring about the blaster at my head. "I didn't steal it. I forged this armour with my family!"

"Family?" The warrior scoffs. The voice sounds kind of feminine. "What clan are you?"

"Clan Wren, House Vizsla," I announced proudly.

"Oh yeah? I don't remember seeing you before. And this is where Clan Wren and House Vizsla are based. So then who are you?"

My family used to be Death Watch?! That's news to me!

"Helmet off, Republican." Comes another voice. It's definitely a man this time. He's not wearing a helmet, it's tucked under his arm. He also has a blaster, and a darksaber hanging on his belt. I studied it from Imperial Holorecords at the academy. His face looks kind of familiar.... But I can't remember where I've seen it before.

I remove my helmet slowly and tuck it under my arm, revealing my copper and indigo hair and distinguishing facial features.

The warrior studies me. "You're a Mandolorian, fair enough. Name?"

"Wren. Sabine Wren." I say.

"Wren.... Are you New Mandolorian?" The man asks. I shake my head slowly. I know all about the New Mandolorians from the Clone Wars. It's becoming pretty clear that somehow, I'm in the Clone Wars era. When I get back home, I'm going to kill Ezra. That crystal did something with time, no doubt!

"Well, good enough for me. Stand down." The warrior orders.

They all scatter, except the one with my blasters and the man with the darksaber.

"I'm Pre Vizsla. Leader of the Death Watch." The man informs me. Well, makes sense as to why I recognized him then! I learned all about him from my family, and about his death.... I was just never told he was Death Watch. He gestures at the other person. "This is Bo-Katan. My second-in-command."

The warrior removes a helmet and I visibly start. Mom?! It's my mother, except younger. I resist the urge to call out her name, because then I'll seem even crazier than I already appear.

(Oh yeah! Some Clone Wars Mandos here! Thought I'd bring back Vizsla and Bo-Katan. I love Bo-Katan, she's so fierce. And Vizsla's pretty great too. This is before he dies, by the way. Also, the majority of the stuff about Sabine and her family and the Death Watch is what I will make up. We know that she's Clan Wren, House Vizsla.... so I'm assuming her family was Death Watch. It makes sense. So, Bo-Katan is now her mom in this fan fiction! :) -LRUF)

Bo-Katan nods at me. A sharp red bob-cut greats me and her eyes are sharp like glass, just as I remember it. "Where are you from, Wren?"

"That's a good question. What year is it?" I ask.

Vizsla answers."22 BBY."

I jolt. "What the heck did Ezra do?" I mutter.

Vizsla looks stricken. "You mean Ezra Bridger, the great Jedi Padawan of the Republic? The only Padawan to single-handedly destroy a Separatist warship?"

"What? Jedi? Separatists? Could someone please tell me what's going on?" I ask. I already figured out that I'm in the Clone Wars, but I'd like some sort of clarification.

"It's 22 BBY. It's the middle of the Clone Wars.  The Death Watch are fighting against the Republic and the New Mandolorains. We're allies with the Separatists." Bo-Katan replies. She narrows her eyes at me. "How could you not know that if you're a native Mandolorian?"

"Let's just say I've been.... Away from the action for a while." I say.

"Come with us," Vizsla says, walking away. "We have plenty to discuss."

Bo-Katan gestures for me to follow, which I do, stunned.

My mother was a Death Watch warrior?! But then.... how did she end up allying with the Empire? If she's fighting the Republic now, then she's on the Separatists side. But the Republic won the war and turned into the Empire.

Hopefully I can figure things out soon, as well as a way to get back to my own time period.
