(Hera pov)

When I open my eyes, I realize what that crystal was. There's an old Jedi legend, about a magic rainbow Kyber crystal that can teleport you through time and space. Kanan told me about it once. When I look around at my new surroundings, I realize what era it is. It's not hard to figure out. I remember it well.

The Clone Wars.

I am standing on a Separatist warship, on the bridge. I read about them as a little girl, went to sleep scared of them. I'm not wearing my pilot attire anymore, instead I'm wearing all black. I reach for my comlink but don't find it there. Instead, I find two blasters, one strapped on either side of my waist.

I hear a cough behind me and turn around. It's General Grievous.

"Commander, have you managed to locate the Jedi Temple on Coruscant yet?" He asks, then coughs again. I'm a Separatist, I realize.

"No sir," I reply, realizing that if I don't play along, I may not get back to my time. I turn to my control board and see a flashing red light. "Actually, yes! It's right here." I point to the base. I'm really sorry Republic, but I need to get back to my own time. But first, I need to find Ezra and the others.

"Good work, Commander," Grevious says and launches into a coughing fit. When he recovers, I receive my next orders. "Prepare to enter hyperspace, and then notify me when we exit it. We will proceed the attack from there."

I swallow. Karabast. "Yes sir!" Good thing I'm a good pilot.

I push buttons on the control board and watch the stars go by in a flash of light. I resist the urge to pound my fist on the equipment in my frustration. Ezra, Kanan, rebels: Where are you?
