(Ezra pov)
I'm going to lose it if I spend one more minute in this cell.
I'm bored. I don't like being bored. Never have, never will. And this is the most boring thing I've ever experienced. I have to get out of here. Sorry Hera, but I'm done waiting.
I take the key card I swiped from Hera quickly and after using the Force to check for nearby lifeforms, open my cell door. Now I've got to find a databank that nobody is using and retrieve the information Yoda requested that I get: The current location of Count Dooku. Grievous is sure to have it–from what Yoda told me, Dooku trained Grievous himself in Sith lightsaber combat. And I'm not planning on facing another Sith wannabe, especially one who apparently has FOUR lightsabers. I can't beat that! So I'll do what I've always been good at–sneak around. Grievous can't use the force, so I have that for an advantage. I'll be able to sense when his officers are nearby, but likely not him, since he's a cyborg.
I make my way smoothly and quietly through the Star Destroyer, expertly avoiding all other people aboard. The skills of being a former con artist come in handy in almost all situations. Once again, I thank the Force for well, the Force. I make it to an unused databank unseen.
Now, time for some slicing. I'm not expecting the Separatists to have an easy-to-crack security system, but I've picked up quite a few tricks over the years. I should be able to do this.
Long, valuable minutes later, I'm in. It takes me another good twenty minutes to find the file I'm looking for, hack it, copy it, and quickly send it to Yoda after coding the signal. I've just sent it when I sense something through the Force–alarm from everyone aboard the bridge of the Destroyer. Either they know that I've escaped, or something else has happened. Either way, it's a good sign to hurry up.
I send something else to Yoda, once again coding the signal to the Jedi Temple. Mission accomplished. Requesting aid.
I get a reply almost immediately. Obviously, Yoda's got someone monitoring the private channel. Smart. On it's way. Hold tight.
Who do I look for? And when are they arriving? I send back. But the moment I send my message, the databank screen goes black and I hear a familiar cough behind me. "Hello, Ezra."
Karabast.
