thank you for staying with me, being kind to me, and following my journey in the last few years. finishing this series took a span of five years, and now here we are, at the curtain call of the story i poured my heart and soul into the most.
like milly's growth, it wasn't easy for me to finish this story. i encountered several hiccups and delays along the way. i had my peaks and valleys, jumps and falls, heartbreaks and wins, and i took a massive nosedive and stumbled face-first to the ground.
this story saw the best and worst of me, but it's also the story that developed who i am as a storyteller, no holds barred, just me and my truth, with a pen and the story i wanted to tell. there have been fears and tears and i was terrified for the most of it, but i'm glad i worked hard on this story because right from the start, i knew this was going to become my greatest work of all.
it's the culmination of who i am as a writer for the past five years.
martini kisses is imperfect and messy, but it's raw and mine, and for that, i wanna celebrate this small win with you in writing.
i've questioned myself several times as a writer because the journey was painful. i didn't have the right words to say. the prose wouldn't flow. and sometimes i didn't even know how to do what i wanted or if i was still heading the right direction.
but like milly, i also learned to embrace the raw side of my writing ~ i learned to love them for what they are: unfiltered, massively raw, and deeply emotional. they are not just characters for me. they are friends i spent time with for the last five years so my hope is that you'd take care of their story as much as i treasure their love in my heart.
so for reaching this far, i'd like to THANK YOU for giving me your time, patience, and energy.
