Milly turns to him, quizzical. Kai wipes the soft tears welling in her eyes with a light caress of his thumb.
MILLY Hm? Give what?
KAI Ito. Ganito. Gusto mo rin ba nang ganito?
MILLY Kai...
KAI 'Di naman kailangan kung ayaw mo. Gusto ko lang malaman mo na handa rin akong ibigay sa 'yo yung ganito. If you want certainty, you don't need to ask. You only need to want it.

Milly pulls her hand away and steps back but Kai reaches for her again and lifts her knuckles to his lips, pressing a soft kiss on her skin.

MILLY I do.

MILLY Kahit ganito lang tayo, ayos lang sa 'yo? We might never have this. I might never be ready for this.
KAI Basta masaya ka, kahit anong kaya mo, maayos sa 'kin.
