FLASHBACK(DAYS AGO BEFORE RIYAH REACHED OUT TO MICHELLE)

XANDER NARRATES;
"The fuck?? Are you kidding me?? What do you mean you just gave her a ride?" Issa blurted out angrily as she gripped me hard by the collar and threw me against the wall after I told them about my little adventure with Michelle.

"I'm sorry okay? I didn't know what to do! She seemed desperate and she also told me she was under someone's hex or something..." I explained as she just pressed me even tighter. "Of course she manipulated you into helping her. That's what she does! You're just too stupid to fall for her little acting... You have no idea how evil that girl is..." She blurted out as angry tears built in her eyes.

"Girl it's okay... He's just a messenger... Girl? Let go of him please... you're hurting him. He's not the one you're angry at..." Emily cut in as she eventually talked Issadora out into letting go of me. "Why did she need a ride? And what do you mean by she was desperate?" Yusuf asked.

"It looked like they were being chased.." I uttered as Emily cut in. "They? She wasn't alone?" She asked. "Yeah... There was this dude in his mid twenty's or something with her... I don't know but it seems people from her own organization are the very ones that want her captured or possibly dead since they released fire onto us. They ruined my car by the way..." I explained.

"What? They shot at you?" Yusuf asked. "Yes... Ruined my car if you get that part... Come to think of it..why did she let you leave in the first place if this whole thing has solely been her idea..? I'm not saying we should trust her but I think there's something bigger at play here... We can't just ignore all the facts" I brought to light.

"And what fact would that be?" Issa asked sounding infuriated by my comment. "That she could be just a victim as any of us? You said it yourself... she's been with your uncle all these while and you didn't even know. He could have brainwashed her into doing it or something... I mean he's just as guilty as she is!" I added as she nearly slapped the shit outta me had it not been Yusuf who was quick to block her.

"Issa chill! He's not entirely wrong you know..." Yusuf blurted out looking down to his feet. "Really?? She fucking killed my sister! Who knows what she'd done with my parents and Bella? I'm sorry but you have no idea how that feels like because if you did, you wouldn't be standing here trying to justify her goddamn actions!" Issa blurted out in anger which kind of took us all by surprise with her choice of words.

"Really?? I don't know how that feels like?? Do you know how insane that sounds? She was my best friend and she fucking killed my brother! I'm sorry but you have no right to tell me I do not know how that feels!" Yusuf threw back at her sounding super hurt by her words.

I wanted to say something but at this point I'll only end up being beaten by either of them so I just stood there with my mouth ajar.

"Oh please! You talk as if you gave a shit about him! Give us a break!" She added at which she quickly regretted her words but it was too late. I know emotions are high right now but that's too farfetched.

"Oh fuck... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to say that..." Issa apologized as she covered her mouth with her hand gesturing regret. "Fucking bitch!" Yusuf cursed under his breath then strutted off in angry tears.

"Girl what the fuck was that about?? Settle down! This is no moment for this crap! Get your shit together! Babe no... please wait! Babe!" Emily blurted out to Issa as she quickly ran after her boyfriend to calm him down.

I was just left alone with her in the the room with me feeling like the room could fall on us any moment. The tension in the atmosphere between the both of us is just rather too overwhelming as she just stared blankly at me as if expecting me to say something.
