Chalein?" Akshita exclaimed, eyes shining with unmistakeable gleem. Avyay nodded, reluctantly "Pehle aap," wasting no other second, Akshita stepped out of the car.

Avyay trailed behind her like a lost puppy, eyes darting around the chaos of the street, while Akshita moved ahead with ease, her gaze flitting in every direction, scanning the tiny details like someone perfectly at home.

"Waise... hum mall bhi jaa sakte the," Avyay muttered casually, his shoulders hunched a little as he kicked a loose pebble. "It's just at a distance."

Akshita paused for a second before slowly turning around, arms folding across her chest. Her eyes narrowed with exaggerated drama. "Really?! Hume toh pata hi nahi tha ki street shopping mall mein bhi hoti hai."

Avyay shrugged, lifting one hand lazily in mock surrender.

"But still..." Avyay squinted toward a nearby food stall, nose twitching slightly. "Yahan pe toh kuch kha bhi nahi sakte. Kitna unhygienic hota hai."

"We don't have to eat anything," Akshita replied, nodding casually. "Hume toh bas thodi si shopping karni hai."

They continued walking toward a small garment shop just a few steps ahead, its colorful fabrics fluttering in the wind.

"Par yahan aane ka matlab kya hua jab koi theek se shopping bhi nahi kar sakta?" he muttered, dodging a child rushing past him. "Itni bheed toh Kumbh mein bhi nahi hoti jitni street shopping ke time dekhne milti hai."

He wrinkled his nose in distaste, lips curled into a half-snort, making a face.

Meanwhile, Akshita stood unfazed. Her focus was solely on a floral-printed dupatta she was examining. She gently ran her fingers over the fabric, assessing its texture like a seasoned shopper.

"Arrey had hoti hai!" she suddenly exclaimed, making Avyay jump in place.

He steadied himself, blinking. "Kya hua?!"

"You've been whining non-stop since we got here," she snapped lightly, her face scrunching in annoyance. "Agar aapko nahi aana tha, toh aaye hi kyun?"

Her bangles jingled sharply with her every graceful movement, drawing curious glances from a few nearby shoppers.

"Arrey... aap bhadak kyun rahi hain?" Avyay asked with a sheepish grin, clearly amused at her sudden mood switch.

"Haan toh aur kya karen? Aapki aarti utare ya naachne lage?" she muttered under her breath, shooting him a glare before turning toward the next stall with a dramatic sigh.

"Arrey, I was just giving my suggestion,"
Avyay laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck in an attempt to diffuse the tension but it only made things worse.

"Ohh! Toh aapko lagta hai humara decision galat tha?"
Akshita snapped, stepping forward, hands now firmly planted on her hips. "Aur hume aapki 'suggestion' ki zarurat hai?!"

Her voice had that mock-calm tone, the kind that was far scarier than shouting.

"Koi zarurat nahi hai aapke suggestions ki. Apne paas hi rakhiye,"
She narrowed her eyes, then turned away with a huff , ignoring him like that one annoying kid running around at weddings that everyone pretends not to see.
