I try shoving him away surprised to see him flying away into the shower on the other side of the space. I start shaking all over freaking out about what I just did. I hear him groaning as he gets up shaking the rubble of chunks of wall off himself.
"Well, that was a bit unexpected, though I shouldn't be surprised I guess." He rolls his neck and shoulders as if the hit was nothing. Suddenly in a blink he's on top of me, pinned to the ground with a knee on my solar plexus. I gasped at the motion out of habit considering I no longer was breathing. He had his hand on my throat squeezing slightly in warning.
"What are you doing-" I tried to choke out, but he ignores my words and smashes his lips to mine pulling me forward. I try and fail to move his face away from mine until he finally pulls away to stare back at me harshly.
"You can no longer reject my touch as we have already bonded. I won't force you to have sex again till a month goes by after testing for a viable pregnancy. You can resist all you want; I've already made myself clear. You will stay here with me until you give birth to our offspring until then you must maintain the balance of the realm as my companion. This is the purpose of why we exist. It will happen whether we choose this path or not." He gritted out that last part thoroughly pissed off it seemed.
Once he lifted himself off me, I grew even more frustrated. My emotions all over the place. Fear, anger, anxiety and resentment all swirling together into a nasty cocktail. He waves his hand and the damage smoothed back into place as if nothing ever happened.
"Your change of garment is on the bed I will see you again once you have rested more considering a lot has happened within what feels like a limited time." He starts to walk away then pauses.
"Evelyn, I realize this may seem too overwhelming now in the moment, but with time you will come to understand it and embrace it on your own. Please do not force my hand more than necessary. Everything would be so much easier for you the sooner you accept your fate." He continues to stride through the doorway disappearing leaving me behind stumped.
Betty comes out from wherever she hid during the commotion hovering over my shoulder as i grab the new dress he left me.
"That sure was intense huh?" I ignore her, the orb was of no help at all during the fight.
"I'm sorry, but I can't interfere when masters are fighting or converse unless given permission. It is a rule the master has placed out of respect for the order of structure.
"Then what good are you even for!" I yelled back at her.
"He literally could've killed me and now you tell me you can't help or even try to stop him?" The deflates in on itself and replies back quietly.
"He can't actually kill you; the realm protects both you and your kin. No one can die we all are just existing." I give her a puzzled look.
"So, what happens when we just end then? Is there no afterlife, reincarnation or just immortal forever?"
"Exactly we just exist until we don't" As if the explanation was simple enough for me to comprehend. I rub my temple in exasperation.
'So, I can't die period, but we can basically still get physical when it comes altercations, just no actual consequences.'
The thought made me shutter. I was brought as a breeding cow but would be treated like any other person it seems.
'Equal rights equal fights I guess, this is the reality of what they wanted back on earth and so far, it's looking like a terrible idea. '
