The Tragedy of True Love {A Mihawk Bittersweet Story}

Chapter 26 [Year 2]

3rd POV:
The family arrives at Shakky's Bar as Shakuyaku opens the door. "Here we are my dear daughter and grandchildren!~" She said, raising her arms to show her business/home.

"Aww, look how cute your bar is, Mother!" [Y/N] said, looking around the bar as Kumi and Kiyoshi look around the new place. "Thank you! Even though, we don't get a lot of people and Rayleigh is scamming people all day, we like the quietness."

"Eh?! Ray! I told you no stealing or scamming people!" [Y/N] faces Rayleigh and scolds him. Rayleigh just chuckles, "Don't forget that I used to be a pirate, [Y/N]. I can steal whenever I want."

[Y/N] sighs before Rayleigh spoke up, "I remember one memory when Dracule tried to steal my sword. He fell down, face first." "Father." "Really?! That's so cute!" She said when Shakuyaku pulls out a book and opens it to reveal pictures.

"Here's one where he wanted to take a bath himself, but created a bigger mess." Shakuyaku shows [Y/N] a picture of a naked little Mihawk on the floor with water and soap everywhere.

"That's Mihawk?! Aww, how cute he is younger!" She said, looking through the album while Shakuyaku coddles and spoils her grandchildren.

"Look how cute my grandbabies are! Even one of them looks like Dracule!" "Mother, please don't." Then, Shakuyaku grabs Mihawk by the ear.

"Now now, Dracule. I get to spoiled my grandchildren whenever I want and however I want. There's nothing you can do to stop me!" Shakuyaku said, cuddling the triplets.

Mihawk sighs about his mother's behavior while Rayleigh just chuckles.

After settling down and getting to know the parents, Shakuyaku and Rayleigh decided to give [Y/N] a tour of the island and explore memories with Mihawk's childhood.

"Here we have a carnival that we used to take Mihawk when he was just a cute little boy! One time, he got his head stuck on the railings from one of the games!" Shakuyaku said, sharing embarrassing stories about Mihawk.

Meanwhile, Mihawk is having a mental crist of hearing those embarrassing stories from his childhood and wanting to ground to swallow him whole (pause!!)

While his father, Rayleigh is just laughing and also giving his side of the stories of child Mihawk. "Oh no! Was he okay after he got his head unstuck?" [Y/N] said, loving the stories about her brave husband.

"He tried not to cry, but at the end he cried, which made my heart hurt a lot after seeing his sad cute face. In the end, we went to get ice cream to make him feel better!"

[Y/N] laughs while Mihawk wants to be buried underground forever. "That's so cute! You were so cute from the pictures, Mihawk!!" She hugs him by the arm as Mihawk tries to hide his face with his hat.

Then, the family walked around the island as the sun slowly sets down, creating a beautiful view of the sunset. Rayleigh and Shakuyaku are talking to Takeru, Kumi and Kiyoshi and showing them the place.

Meanwhile, the married couple are behind them, holding hands with comfortable silence around them and in the air. [Y/N] smiles and turns her head to look at her lovely husband.

"This is nice..." She said, causing Mihawk to turn to look at her. "What's nice?" He said. "This moment.... It's nice.... Being able to meet your parents, having the triplets to meet their grandparents...." She said, slowly hugging Mihawk's arm.

Mihawk looks up to stare at his parents spoiling his children, smiling at them to make the triplets giggle. Then, he looks down at his beautiful wife, seeing how the sunset glows around her before placing a kiss on her head.

"Never thought I would be in this very moment... Now that I am here, I don't want it to end...." Mihawk confesses. [Y/N] quickly looks up, blushing slightly before smiling softly.

"Me too.... I don't want this moment to end... I would remember this with my whole heart..." "We'll make more memories, darling. We'll make them together..."

To some, they'll think that it's very sweet and cute after hearing those words. However, to [Y/N], there was a bittersweet meaning behind the words and holds Mihawk's hand tightly.

Where their love for each other keeps growing and growing❤️
