The Tragedy of True Love {A Mihawk Bittersweet Story}

Chapter 3

3rd POV:
After a few months of sailing, They reach an island to sail off again to Baterilla. Once they reach the deck, Mihawk hops off to tie the rope around a pole to lock the ship in place.

"Ooo! What a lovely island we just arrived at!" [Y/N] said, looking at the island as the sun slowly starts to raise up. Mihawk held his hand to [Y/N] as she took it to give herself a small boost to climb up the deck.

Once she stepped on the deck, Mihawk grabs her hand and walks into a little village to get the supplies they needed for their trip.

As they walked through the village, the stares of the villagers were questionable since they were staring at them like fondness in their eyes like they were seeing a cute couple.

[Y/N] doesn't seem to pay attention to what's happening as she looks around, seeing a land that isn't Loungetown or Baterilla. However, Mihawk noticed the stares as he put his arm around her shoulders to pull her close to him.

They continued on walking around the village to get everything they needed to head back as the villagers continued on smiling at them while whispering to each other about how cute they are.

After shopping, they stopped at a restaurant to eat before heading to the ship. They walked in the restaurant to pick a table, to wait for their waiter to take their orders.

The waiter walks over to them and asks them what they would like to eat and drink. Once they got their orders wirtten, the waiter walks away to prepare their meals and leaves the couple alone.

Mihawk and [Y/N] started to talk to each other, anything that they would talk about while they wait for their food to arrive.

A few minutes of talking, they hear the villagers still whispering about them as a couple of people with instruments walk in the restaurant.

They walked into a corner of the restaurant with a bigger space as they set up their things. "Ooo! Are they gonna play for the people here?!" [Y/N] said, smiling as she watches the people taking out their instruments.

Mihawk still noticed the whispers and stares that they keep getting ever since they entered the village, just nods without giving suspension.

Then, [Y/N] turns around to continue talking to Mihawk when the piano starts to play, making the people stop to turn at the musical people. (Play music above)

[Y/N]'s eyes shines when knowing what they were playing as a hand appeared near her. She looks up to see Mihawk standing in front of her, asking her to dance with him.

She smiles shyly, blushing before taking his hand and stands up as Mihawk takes her to the center of the restaurant. Once they were at the center, they began to dance along to the music.

The villagers from inside and outside stopped to look at the couple dancing in a specific way. They all smiled as other couples joined them as well, dancing around them to the music.

Mihawk and [Y/N] couldn't take their eyes off of each other, slowly losing themselves in their own world as they felt they were the only ones alone.

Then, [Y/N] slowly lays her head on his chest, swaying to the music while Mihawk tense up from the soft affection.

He loosen up as he quickly places a kiss on her head before resting his head on top, not noticing [Y/N] blushing with a smile on her face.

They continued on dancing as the music comes to a close as Mihawk dips [Y/N] a bit to finish off the dance. They snapped out of their world after hearing claps, cheers and whistles from the villagers roaring throughout the restaurant.

[Y/N] quickly hides behind her hair after realizing she danced in front of people while holding Mihawk's hand.

Mihawk pats her on the head to calm her down from the attention as they get back to their seats to see their food and drinks on the table.

Once seated, [Y/N] shyly plays with her food, still hiding behind her hair when she felt a hand brush it behind her ear. She looks to see Mihawk giving her a small smile that eases away the fear in her.

"You did great, darling.... You looked wonderful." He said, slowly holding her hand to rub it gently.

[Y/N] smiles at him, blushing red as she lifts up her other arm to hold his other one as Mihawk lifts them up to kiss both of them.

Then, they get back to their food in front of them to eat as they ate in silence while everyone went about their business and looked at the couple with the smile on their faces.

Like they knew...
