Chapter 10

I have work again. Uhg! I hate work.

"Madison this time pay attention to customers." Marisa says rolling her eyes at me.

It's late again and no ones coming.

"What customers?" I look around rolling my eyes back at her.

"Someone might come, Madison!" Marisa says mopping the floor this time.

"But I have to go to the bathroom! I whine.

"Stop making me regret getting you this job," Marisa snaps at me harshly and annoyed.

I then grab a magazine about food because I'm starving which is bad because it makes me even more hungry.

"Mmmm this looks good,"I say out loud licking my lips.

"Madison!!!" Marisa snaps at me.

"What? Can't you see I'm reading?!?!"

"Customers." Marisa says rolling her eyes pointing at the two hot guys in front of me smiling.

I put the magazine down and get embarrassed and start to blush. At that moment I just wanted to run to the bathroom.

They set two slushies and chips on the counter.

I ring it up.

"Hey you're from the movies," Xavier says smiling.

Oh no he remembers me.

"Yeah," I say quietly.

"Wow you two both work here?" Ben asks.

"Yeah sister bond!" I smile at Marisa, Marisa looks at me and shakes her head then flips me off.

"Love you too," I say rolling my eyes.

"Well then," Ben says still smiling.

"Your total is $4.20."

Ben pulls out $5 and hands me it.

"Aw your paying for him," I say smiling at Ben.

"No it's for me."

"Hey," Xavier says, "I thought you were buying me that!"

"Dude I am, it was a joke," Ben says laughing.

I laugh and just shake my head and hand Ben the change.

"Ah, Shit!" I hear a big clunk sound and we all look at Marisa who fell on the floor which is slippery from mopping.

"Oh my god?" Ben runs to her side and helps her up. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah thanks," Marisa says smiling.

They take a step and both slip this time.

"Ow" Ben and Marisa groan.

"Are you guys okay?" Me and Xavier ask at the same time.

We then look at each other and laugh.

"Yeah," Marisa gets back up and so does Ben laughing their asses off.

Xavier then looks at me and gives me a little sweet smile.

I smile back. His smile was contagious.

"Hey would you like to go out sometime," he says taking a sip of his slushie. He looks really cute. I can't say no to a opportunity like this.

"Yes I mean sure." I say trying not to sound too desperate.

"Cool," he hands me a piece of paper with his number written on it, then he waves and He try's to walk away all cool but he then slips and falls and hits the ground and his slushie goes flying all over him.

"Oh my god are you okay?" I yell, I run his way and help him up but then I fall and he helps me up.

"God Marisa why did you have to make this damn floor so slippery?" I yell at Marisa.

"Sorry," Marisa snorts.
