Chapter 13
Mitch's POV
"I'm familiar with it because I have one too."
I stared at Jerome in disbelief.
"Tyler has one too." He added.
"What does that mean?! You and Tyler have 'abilities' too?"
Jerome nodded his head.
"We both have different abilities though. Tyler has water abilities and I have fire abilities." He explained. I sat there for a second, not believing it.
"Prove it. Where's your 'brand'?" I asked. Jerome stood up and turned around. He lift his shirt a little showing off a third of his toned back. Surely enough, there was a tattoo there. It just above his waistline.
His tattoo was just like mine except it said 'φωτιά' in the middle of the small circle. Jerome let go off his shirt letting it cover his tattoo and turned around.
"And if that isn't enough proof, then here." He said as he opened his palm. After a second his whole hand caught on fire. I stared in disbelief wondering how the fire wasn't burning him. After 30 seconds the flames disintegrated and his hand was no longer on fire.
"W-what the hell?" I stuttered.
"Seto branded me about 9 months ago." Jerome said as he sat back down. I stared at the floor not believing what I just saw.
Jerome and Tyler have... abilities like me?
I saw Jerome get up and walk towards the door. "You should get some rest Mitch, I'll come get you for supper later." Jerome said as he turned off the lights and closed the door. I laid back on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
Jerome and Tyler have special abilities like me and starting tomorrow they're going to teach me how to control it. What if I can't control it like them? What if I end up killing someone?
I continued staring at the ceiling, lost in thought until sleep finally consumed me.
