Mitch's POV
Seto lead me through the forest, with H.B trailing close behind me.
I know that if I tried to run I'd be quickly caught, but I was always on alert.
I don't know where they were leading me or why they'd even bring me outside.
A stupid move on there part, I could easily be found by someone out here.
"H.B, είμαστε σχεδόν εκεί, πηγαίνετε έλεγχος το χωριό. αν βρούμε επιζώντες, να τους σκοτώσει." Seto said.
I stared at him confusingly, what language was that?
I turned around, but surprisingly H.B was gone.
If I go now I might be able to outrun Seto.
"No you can't." Seto mumbled.
"Excuse me?" I asked, very very confused.
"Honestly, Mitchell, I thought you would've figured it out by now, but I guess I'll have to spell it out." Seto huffed, turning to me.
"H.B injected a serum into you, I was given the same serum, except mine was altered. So now, I can control your thoughts, actions and emotions through a signal that's sent from myself through the serum. So I can basically control you whenever I please and read your mind." Seto explained, leaving me completely bewildered.
"Pretty neat right? It's one of my newest and most helpful potions." Seto smiled with pride.
"So you know what I'm about to say before I-"
"Say them." Seto interrupted me and my eyes widen.
Seto smirked.
"Damn." I breath, continuing to follow him to whatever place we were going.
As we were walking, I noticed some parts of the forest started to look a bit familiar.
I saw trees and paths that looked oddly familiar but everything looks the same in the forest, but I still didn't like the feeling of this.
* * *
As we walked the air started becoming thicker and the scent of smoke lingered in the air.
I recognized the smell instantly, since it wasn't new to me but it frightened me a little.
I noticed smoke arising from the trees in front of us and soon saw a clearing somewhat in the distance; which was clearly the source of it...
My heart speed up a little in fear and uncertainty.
It can't be...
But it was. I instantly recognized the village. My village.
We didn't even have to enter, for I already knew.
Seto walked with a straight face, showing no expression.
But as we entered the deserted village, his expression changed.
He looked... satisfied.
I felt a whole new fear for him, how could you destroy a whole village and the families that lived within it and be happy? It's not human.
But I ignored Seto and turned back to the village-or what was left of it.
Every building was either broken, collapsed, burnt of completely destroyed.
I frantically looked for my house and I soon found it.
It was gone, burnt away and turned into ashes like the rest.
Small piles of cobblestone and bricks were scattered around, since they couldn't be burnt they probably broke them down and threw them aside.
Who did this? It couldn't have been Seto or H.B, they were watching-guarding me the whole time....
"You wanna know who did this?" Seto asked, amused.
I stared at him, unsure if I wanted an answer but mumbled a small "yes.."
Seto smirked, observing the ruins.
"You did."
