MICHAEL'S PORSCHE WAS A PORTAL INTO HIS OLD LIFE. Vienna watched him control the wheel perfectly, his hands gliding across the sleek black wheel, and she could practically see his life before he entered the Naturals program. There was just something about the way his cush trust fund life, bouncing from one boarding school to another like it was nothing.

All that aside, now his life is very different. Very different from his trust fund days, and for that he is glad. He barely talks about his father, but from what he had informed Vienna, she could tell that he was pretty much an abusive asshole who had no value on this earth whatsoever.

But in the end, that's the past. Now, Cassie, Vienna, Lia, and Michael were on the way to a frat party, because for some reason  it was a good idea.

Lia reached her head out of the backseat window, her black hair ripping through the wind as Michael drove down the freeway. Vienna could practically feel the confidence radiating off her as she pulled down the bottom of her very short dress uncomfortably. Her eyes dart to Michael, but his eyes were already focused on her.

"Eyes on the road, Townsend." She says loudly, over the whipping wind consuming the car.

"Who says I'm not watching the road?"

"You were just looking over here."

"Well, you got me there." Michael smirks, though his eyes were glued on the road for once. "You enjoying the ride?"

"Something like that. I still think this is a bad idea though."

"Why's that?"

"I can't help but think we're invading Dean's privacy."

Lia interrupts at once. I don't mean to interrupt whatever is going on up front, but you have too pull off the road at that gas station up there, I've got to pick something up."

Michael scoffs, yet he puts his turn signal on and heads in the direction of the gas station immediately.

He parks with ease, so much so that Vienna could hardly even feel him brake until he puts the car in park. Lia and Cassie exit the car, Michael watching them as they go inside. It is a sketchy gas station after dark, after all.

Now, it was just Michael and Vienna left in that dimly lit car. He really is a pretty boy in this lighting. The crappy outdoor lighting of the gas station made his eyes pop as he unbuckled his seatbelt to stretch out. His eyes fell back on Vienna, as if all other thoughts left his mind except for her.
