THE DETAILS OF THE CASE SPUN AROUND VIENNA'S BRAIN. She was unable to take her mind off of it, even though Briggs and Sterling had told all of the Naturals that they could not work on anything related to the case without their permission.

Though she wasn't doing anything to work on the case, her brain would not let it go. Her mind was running at the speed of a cheetah after chugging an energy drink, and it wouldn't slow, even when she tried to sleep.

The fact that everyone in Fogle's class had an alibi, even TA Geoff, bothered her. She had thought that the TA did it. And if he wasn't the UNSUB, Vienna had not doubted that he had something to do with it. But now he had a rock-solid alibi, and that bothered her.

Vienna hated being wrong. And not in a self-centered way. She knew that it was impossible to always be right, but she prided herself on thinking things through, and she had wasted her time on overthinking about that stupid TA, who wasn't even a killer, just a douche.

"Hey, roomie." Lia walked into Vienna and her own shared bedroom, her gaze falling onto the brown haired girl, who was reading to attempt to take her mind off the case.

"Hey." The brunette girl hums as she looks up to Lia just briefly, her expression bland as she returns her attention to the book.

Things with both Lia and Dean were still a bit weird. Things were back to normal, though Dean was more closed off than normal and still looked at Lia with that hollow look in his eyes that all of the naturals knew all too well.

"Everyone in this house is being so boring." Lia flops down on Vienna's bed, the passive aggressive nature in her words not going unnoticed.

Vienna puts her book down. "I am not boring. In fact, if I remember correctly, which you know I am, on my very first night in this house, you told me that I'm fun." She smirks, causing Lia to roll her eyes.

"Curse you and your eidetic memory."

"If everyone here is so boring, what do you want to do?" Vienna asks. "And before you suggest something about us leaving the house, I will remind you that Sterling and the Director threatened this program after your bright idea to go to a frat party."

Lia scoffs. "How about an ice cream roof date then?" She asks with a smile on her face.

"Oh, now you're speaking my language." Vienna stands up as Lia grabs her arm and pulls her out of their bedroom.

"I've got mint chocolate chip, my favorite, and cake batter, your favorite." Lia speaks as they creak down the rickety steps of the house and into the kitchen.
