YOU:
Daniel Redding is one of the greats. He was a genius, a god among men, a legend. When a man like Redding speaks, people listen. And when Redding wanted someone dead, they died. He was powerful, strong, everything you aspired to be.
'You were sloppy. You got lucky.' The voice in your head spoke, and you swore under your breath as you willed the voices away. You were sure of yourself, in control. Just like him.
Daniel Redding is not your hero, he is your god. You aspired to be just like him, and with your power, the rest of the world, especially those idiots at the FBI, would follow you without thinking, like a line of pathetic ants.
You would crush them, every single one. But not yet.
Time will tell.

VIENNA SAT IN THE BASEMENT WITH THE REST OF THE NATURALS. Well, not all of them, unfortunately. Dean and Cassie were going to a prison. Not just any prison. The one where Daniel Redding is located.
Dean had vocalized his fears to Vienna about visiting his father, and how he didn't want to do it, but yet here he was. But he wasn't going alone, Sterling and Briggs had allowed him one person from the team to come with him, and to nobody's shock, he'd picked Cassie.
Vienna hadn't heard all of the details as to why Briggs is bringing Dean to the prison, but she had put two and two together based on what Judd had told her. Redding may have some insight on the copycat killer. And he would only talk if Briggs supplied him one thing, and that just so happened to be his son.
At least that's what Vienna thought. It seemed like classic Daniel Redding from all of the psychological profiles she'd read about the man. He was a narcissist. Vienna hated the man, obviously, he was a serial killer, but also because of how he had terrorized Dean, and made him watch the crimes he committed. Vienna could hardly imagine sharing blood with someone so cruel. Dean had confided in Vienna about that bit a few months after she arrived at the program, claiming she was easy to talk to.
"I think this is a horrible idea." Sloane mumbles, snapping Vienna from her thoughts. Michael, Vienna, Lia, and Sloane were sprawled out on the couches, Sloane's head resting in Vienna's lap.
"Me neither." Vienna mumbles. She knew how much strength this was likely taking Dean, and she wished she could've wished him luck before they left.
"Luckily we won't be left in the dark though." Michael pipes up. "We're going to watch the interview through Briggs's bodycam."
