THE SIZZLE OF PANCAKES BEING FLIPPED FILLED THE QUIETNESS OF THE KITCHEN.
Vienna hummed along to one of her playlists as she set the spatula down, eating directly from the chocolate chip bag.
Judd had told her to stop eating directly from the bag, saying that she does not need that much sugar, that it would make her hyper.
She quickly argued that, explaining that recent studies have shown that there is no direct correlation between eating sugar and being hyper. He had grumbled, rolling his eyes, before walking away.
Now here she was, eating directly from the bag. Luckily, Judd wasn't there to nag her.
She quickly flipped the page of her book. She was reading a romance novel. She rarely read those. It wasn't her thing, but she thought she could try one out. It was about a girl who was in love with her best friend, and she hoped that at some point, the book would help her snap out of her feelings for Michael.
Vienna quickly returns back to reality as the smell of burning pancakes infiltrates her nose.
"Shit." she grumbled as she snapped her book shut, storing the page number she was on in the depths of her brain. 123.
She took one of her pancakes off the stove, pouring some more batter onto the skillet as Dean and Lia walk into the room.
Dean was wearing grey sweats and a white shirt. Lia, on the other hand, was wearing light colored pajama pants and high heels. Vienna didn't even bat an eye.
Vienna smiled at them as she sips her coffee. "Good morning, you two."
"Morning, Vienna." Dean smiled at her softly.
"What are you guys plotting?"
"What?" Lia asks flatly.
"You have these expressions on your face. you're plotting something. spill."
"i need michael-" dean was cut off.
"-is what they all say." Michael finishes Dean's sentence, causing the blonde boy to glare at him.
"I-"
Lia sits on the countertop. "He needs a ride."
"Aw, Dean, I love when you depend on me." Michael smirks, causing Vienna to chuckle. He leans against the countertop next to her, taking a bite of one of her pancakes.
