Sorry guys for not updating last week, there's this war situation going on in my country unfortunately as of now and I have been unable to come here and publish an episode. I'm gonna come back again tomorrow and return love to everyone. InshaAllah. P.s. it was my birthday yesterday and I really wanted to treat y'all with an episode but we missed it. Sorry.
Love from Anna & Adam. <3

The peaceful silence that filled the room was shattered by a whistling noise from outside. We glanced out the window, only to see a sudden flurry of snow and a gusty wind, disrupting the tranquility of the scene. Snowflakes glittered in different spots, some settling gently while others were swept away in the wind. Children ran back home, abandoning their snowmen, as windows closed and doors sealed shut.

"Isn't it getting... colder?"

I asked, feeling a slight shiver run through me.

"No, are you cold?" He asked, looking down at me.

"I... don't..." My voice trembled.

"What's wrong, Anns?"

He asked me, concern etched on his face as he kept me at arm's length.

I opened my mouth to respond, but I choked on water. My throat closed up, and I struggled to breathe through the windpipe, my breaths agonizingly painful and terribly short.

Adam called my name as I saw a raging wave barreling towards me. It crashed into me, throwing my body further into the waters. I wanted to cry out for help, but I couldn't bring enough air into my lungs.

As I grasped for one last breath, iced water flooded in, burning my throat as if a million sharp needles had been plunged into it. In a panic, I began flailing my limbs around.

Then Adam pulled me out, shouting my name. He laid me on the floor and started pressing on my chest. I couldn't stop but vomit water everywhere, even on myself.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked me.

I couldn't speak from the cold, so I nodded instead. My eyes burned as I looked at him, only to realize it wasn't him.

It was Tamimi.

"Hey, Anna, are you okay?" He asked again.

My eyes flickered everywhere, taking in my surroundings.

"Wh... where... am I?"

I tried to ask, but my voice was hoarse.

"Now who drowns in a damn pool? You're a what, a kid!? DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO SWIM? YOU COULD HAVE DIED IN THERE IF HE HADN'T NOTICED YOU FROM THE KITCHEN WINDOW. STUPID GIRL!" A voice screamed.

"Hey, hey! Calm down, Aunty; she's okay, she's fine now. Don't worry, I got her."

Tamimi tried to soothe her, his hands raised in an attempt to calm her down. Then he instructed Magnus to take my mom inside.

Now I knew where I was; everything came flooding back to me in flashes.

"Hey, sorry about that. Are you okay?" Tamimi asked gently.

I nodded silently as he helped me up, and Sylvia wrapped me in a blanket.

"Let's get her inside."

Sylvia urged; her voice tinged with concern.

"I'll go fetch some soup for my child.," Nancy Maa said, her eyes revealing her worry as she glanced at me.

As they guided me indoors, the summer breeze felt oddly chilly against my damp skin, sending involuntary shivers down my spine.

"Thank you," I murmured softly, appreciating their support.
