Yuzuha, thinking I was sick, gave me Tuesday off. It was nice to have a day to myself. I certainly needed a day to think.
My car pulled up to the curb, and I got out. The gates were sitting open, and I walked through them leisurely.
The large fountain in the courtyard made a warm feeling spread throughout my body. A sense of familiarity ran through me.
I sat down on the edge and ran my fingers through the water. Sunlight sparkled off the top like stars in the night sky. Looking out at the building I was about to enter made me smile.
It loomed up over me in its pinkish glory. It looks as new as if it were built yesterday. Of course, it wasn't. I certainly knew.
Heading inside, I glance around. Making my way down the familiar corridors was easy. When I found the room I was looking for, a smile crossed my face.
"Classroom 2-A... Feels like just yesterday."
Looking at the door, I remember the many times I walked through these doors with a bubbly blonde boy on my tail. Other days I entered with my two best friends at my side.
When I stepped in, nobody was there. It was all right, I had the time to wait.
My feet carried me to my own chair in the back. Everyone basically picked a seat at the start of the year and stayed there. We were quite odd.
I pictured Masato Kumori, in his blonde-haired green-eyed glory in front of me. To my right was always Akahana. Sitting on her right was Chikako.
In front of Chikako would be Kyoya, who sat next to Tamaki. These thoughts brought a smile to my face.
"Is there something I can help you with?" A male voice spoke up.
My head snapped to the door. A tall, dark haired boy stood in the doorway. He wore a black shirt, black slacks, a white tie, a white belt, and a black blazer with the Ouran emblem.
I bring in a sharp breath. I'd never seen anyone wear the uniforms besides The Host Club.
"They look so good." I comment. My gaze moves to the boy's face. "Sorry to gawk. I just never got to see my new uniform's before they got instated."
The young boy's eyes widened. "Y-You're Kasumi Roromiya? The model? What are you doing here?"
"I came to see Kurouta-Sama. She was my teacher in second year." I told the boy.
He nodded. "Well, I'm sorry that you took time to come all the way here for nothing, but Kurouta-Sama isn't here. She's out sick."
I smile at the boy. "It hasn't been for nothing. I've remembered a lot of things about high school." I got out of the chair.
"Masato Kumori sat here." I rest my hand on Masa's old desk.
"Really? The soccer player?!" The kid seemed amazed.
"Yeah. Akahana Hanozono sat here, and Chikako Todou sat right beside her. They're both Yusuke's now..."
"Oh! Those two own a company together!" He states excitedly.
I nod at him and place my hand on Kyoya's old desk. "Kyoya Ootori sat here."
"The one who owns the Ootori Group?"
"That's him. And right here was where Vice Chairman Suoh sat." There was a happy light in my eyes as I told the boy this.
"Really?! That's where I sit!"
"Then you're bound to do great things..." A smile spread across my lips. "Enjoy the rest of your lunch break."
With that, I exited the room.
