The week was over in what felt like the blink of an eye. I was going to miss Kyoya, and I'd have to get used to being alone again. It would be hard, and I didn't want to. I don't like being alone.

Maybe I should adopt an animal. I'd never be lonely if I had a dog. And I could hire a dog-walker. That'd be pretty cool.

For now, I need to put those thoughts aside. Tamaki had gotten home yesterday, and he was coming here later. I was going to tell him about Kyoya and me. He'd probably be pissed, but I couldn't blame him.

I was walking around the house with Mei and Nimura, helping them clean. Nimura was babbling on about some guy she met at school; she was studying to become a doctor.

"He was so cute! He has light brown hair and the way he styles it is so handsome! I think he's going to ask me out soon!" she had been going on like this for and hour or so.

I smiled at the newest addition to my working staff. She started right when I got back, and I was glad to have somebody around who wasn't at least a decade older than me, "I'm happy for you."

"Thank you, Kasumi-San." Nimura was happy to have found a place to work that pays well and has flexible hours. I was helping her pay for her studies. That felt good.

"You're almost done with your studies, correct?"

"Yes, ma'am. One more semester to go!"

"If you don't mind, I could help you find employment. Unless you'd want to do it on your own," I tell her this sheepishly, not wanting to be rude.

Nimura looked at me, tears pricking in her eyes, "You... You'd do that for me?"

"Of course. You've been a great addition to my staff and I want nothing but happiness for you."

She pulled me into a hug, "Thank you so much, Kasumi. But, I think I'll try on my own first. If I can't seem to get lucky, I'll be sure to come to you, though."

"I'll be looking forward to seeing your career take off."

Later that night, I was sitting in the lounge, my hair pinned up and a simple pink dress on. Tamaki would be here soon. Everyone except Temori had gone home.

"Young miss," he peeked his head into the lounge, "is there anything you need before I go?"

I waved my hand in dismissal, "No, no! You go on home, enjoy that family of yours!"

With a curt nod, Temori left, and I was lonely again. It was just me in this big house. That realization made a sinking feeling stir inside of me.

I couldn't tell you how long it was before Tamaki showed up, but I didn't get up from my spot in the lounge.

Opening the door, I was engulfed in a hug. Tamaki spun me in a circle as my feet lifted away from the ground. He held me there for a few moments, my head a few inches above his.

"I missed you," was all he said.

A hint of a smile crossed my lips, "I missed you too."

He held my hand and walked me towards the lounge, I took him towards the stairs instead. I wanted to talk out on the balcony, where I felt most at home, despite the fact that it is the beginning of December.
