"Dude, you're going to get sunburned."
You muttered as you rubbed some sunscreen onto his back & shoulders.
He was sitting in the lawn chair next to you.
Carlos chuckled as you pulled away.
He wrapped both arms around your waist.
You glanced at the beautiful beach view in front of you & smiled.
"Cancun is so beautiful, I bet growing up here was amazing."
You muttered, as you took a seat on his lap; wrapping your arm around his neck loosely.
It was a vacation/team celebration.
Most of Carlos' teammates were here with their families.
Carlos pressed a kiss to your hair and muttered:
"Trust me, you're the beautiful one here and you're much more amazing..."
You slipped a hand onto his jaw. He hadn't shaved and his beard was getting a bit scruffy.
You pressed a kiss to his lips and he returned it, slipping a hand onto your chin.
"Mamí!! Papa!!"
You both pulled away, hearing the familiar beautiful sound of your four year old daughter's voice.
Addison Rose Vela.
She was holding a Popsicle, as she made her way down the short pathway. Addie had gone with her Tio Miguel Layun and Cousin Mateo to go get a cold treat.
"Gracias Tio!"
She said politely as she took a seat next to you both.
"De Nada Addie."
The little one had grown accustom to calling Carlos' teammates
'Tio' and their wags 'Tia'.
Carlos grinned at his the little girl.
They shared the same beautiful skin tone and chocolate brown eyes. Her hands were sticky with the sugary treat but she was enjoying it a lot.
"Addie come play!"
Mateo called out as he held the soccer ball in his arms.
The toddler glanced at you questioningly, you nodded in agreement and took the ice treat from her.
You stood up and handed Carlos a napkin so he could clean her up.
She ran off and you handed him the Popsicle.
"Here, enjoy it. You haven't eaten anything sweet in forever."
"That's not true Nena..."
He uttered a little seductivley.
Carlos added a little wink and your eyes widened.
Quickly catching his drift you rolled your eyes.
"Carlos, calllate!!"
You said playfully with a nervous giggle. He chuckled at your nervousness, he knew how embarassed you got when he spoke that way.
He laid back and you took a seat between his thighs, pressing the back of your head to his chest.
You both watched as Miguel and Tecatito set up small goal post markers using sweaters.
"Cascaritas?"
You heard Memo Ochoa call out.
"Los pequenos nomas."
The kids made their way over and got split into even teams.
"C'mon Addie!!"
You and Carlos called out as the mini recreational beach game started. Memo was the referee & team members were cheering for their little ones.
Addie quickly picked up a pace and scored the first goal. Carlos cheered in excitement:
"YEAH SHE'S A VELA!!!"
Tecatito's little boy ended up tying
the score.
You pulled out your phone and snapped a video of your adorable four year old kicking the ball as hard as she could.
You glanced at your husband, a very proud expression spread on his face. It was one of his many dreams to watch his child continue the sport he has always been so passionate about. Carlos definitely wouldn't mind if Addie became a professional soccer player. He always spoke to you about how much he wanted to make sure he was there for her and supported her.

"YEAH ADDIE!!"
He called out as she made a pass to Memo's daughter and they scored. The little ones high-fived and hugged each other.
You smiled and someone called out: "VELA! YOUR KID SCORED MORE GOALS THAN YOU DID IN THE ENTIRE CUP!"
Carlos chuckled, not taking the comment offensively.
"SORE LOSERS!!!"
He called back, with a chuckle.
You giggled and rested your hand on Carlos' thighs.
Addie came over and took a seat on your lap.
"Great Job Princessa!"
Carlos said proudly as you wrapped your arms around her.

"Do you two want a drink?"
Ana Layun asked, as she passed by.
"I'll come with you, Carlos do you want a beer or something?"
"Yes babe please."
He said as he placed Addie on his lap. You hooked elbows with Ana and made your way over to the small cantina.
You ordered a beer for Carlos and a water for yourself.
"How come you're not getting a drink?"
"I did."
"I meant like alcoholic..."
She uttered as she took a sip of her fruity Margarita.
You glanced up and she gasped:
"OH MY- you're- you're pregnant again aren't you?"
Your eyes widened and you muttered:
"Keep it down, you're like the first person I've told."
Ana wrapped her arms around you and you hugged her back.
"Congratulations Nena!"
"Thank you."
"How far along?"
"I found out a few days before Addie and I flew in for the final. Only a month and a half along."
You made your way back towards the beach,
"Ana, can we keep this between us?"
"Claro que Si. Pero porque?"
"I want to wait until I know everything's okay and I tell Carlos. I want us to explain to Addie."
"Of course."

"Look at that..."
Ana said with a smile.
You glanced over and saw your husband, his hands around Addie's waist, teaching her how to dribble properly.
"Uno. Dos. Tres. Cuatro.... Eso Nena!"
You pulled out your phone and took a video of them.
Carlos lifted her up and pressed a kiss to her forehead, carrying her back towards you.
"My Mini crack!!"
He said with a smile, setting her down. You handed him his beer and took a sip of your water.
"Where's your drink?"
He asked after taking a sip, you laid back with your legs wrapped behind his waist.
"I just felt like sticking with water."
He raised an eyebrow and muttered:
"Hey Addie, why don't you go ask Mateo if you can play with him?"
She nodded her head and made her way over to him.
Carlos laid back and pressed the back of his head against you. You slipped your fingers through his hair.
"What's wrong?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean Amor..."
"I wanted to wait...but I'm sure you're not going to let this go."
"Nope. Dime.."
"I-uh.."
He turned around and glanced at you, he looked a little concerned.
"I-uh. Am...pregnant."
Carlos blinked and went silent. You couldn't read his facial expression, it wasn't like the first time.
He had gotten a little upset when he found out you were pregnant with Addie. Carlos always regretted how he acted, she came by surprise.

He glanced up at you and his expression broke into a smile:
"Wow. I'm gonna be a dad again. This is-wow. Wow. I-I'm so happy.."
You sighed in relief and he chuckled:
"What's up?"

"I'm so happy...you're happy. I've been so scared to tell you."
"Why wouldn't I be excited?"

"Carlos, it's just I know that this isn't the right time and-."

"Listen, it's always the right time with you. As long as I have you, leading the way. Nothing else doesn't matter. Addie and you have been the most amazingly things that have ever happened to me."
He wrapped an arm around you and muttered against your stomach: "& you're just another blessing that'll be here soon."
You slipped your fingers onto his cheek and he said:
"Te quiero un chingo vieja."
He muttered, with a chuckle.
You giggled and slipped both arms around his neck, pulling him into an embrace.
His lips pressing behind your ear.
"I love you too."
You pulled away and added:
"Now we have to figure out a way to tell Addie."
You breathed out, running your fingers through your hair. Carlos took your hand in his & slipped his fingers through yours.
"I think Adds will be okay.
She's a great kid and she's such a sweetheart."
You nodded and watched as Addie helped Mateo up from a little tumble.
"I just wouldn't want her to feel left out,you know ..."
You said, as you traced circles onto his knee with your fingertip.
"She won't. We'll explain to her that its going to be a little different when her hermanito or hermanita gets here. I know that for atleast a month I'm going to have to leave training earlier and pick her up from School. I'll make sure she knows we still care."
You nodded in agreement and he pressed a kiss your forehead, his hands slipping to around your shoulders.

I'm thinking part 2?
