It was probably still way too early when Siyeon woke up. Just a weak sunlight that reached one part of the walls from the dark curtains, the whole house and everything outside sounding silent. It still felt amazing, though. Not being woken up by any alarm, or her pager for an emergency. There was no rush, just resting under the warm blanket and most importantly, hearing the soft and steady breaths from beside her.
When she opened her eyes, the first thing they saw was Bora. They were facing each other, and the brunette had the most peaceful expression on her face. She loved to see her this calm. Whenever Bora's awake, even in her most content moments, the muscles of her face are always at work, one way or another. Sometimes revealing thoughts plainly, sometimes concealing them. That makes these seconds of tranquillity so very striking. Not a single worry or thought is visible in graceful features.
Siyeon brushed a few stray hairs from her face and smiled. She didn't want to wake her up, wanting to give her more time to rest.
A few minutes passed and she couldn't resist the urge to kiss her forehead anymore, having admired her girlfriend for way too long already. The single peck unchained a whole string of events, resulting in Bora's eyes eventually slowly fluttering open, meeting Siyeon's. The smile that joined that right after was one of the most heartwarming things.
Bora's smile turns a little brighter once she's a little bit more awake, once she realises where they are, and the fluttering in Siyeon's stomach comes at full force at the sight of it. "Good morning, beautiful"
"Says you."
The bed was a little to the small side, but that didn't pose a problem. It just meant they needed to cuddle up even closer to each other.
"How did you sleep?" Siyeon asked after just a few more pecks on Bora's face. The latter had crawled into her arms, resting her face in her neck.
Bora hummed, not in the mood to talk too much this early. "Okay." she mumbled, breathing in Siyeon's neck and trying to get a little more comfortable.
At the same time one of her hands slowly slid down the front of Siyeon's stomach, probably having forgotten they weren't exactly home.
Trying to ignore the goosebumps just that little touch brought her, Siyeon chuckled. "Just okay? And here I had the most amazing sleep"
"New bed" A bed that wasn't your home never felt good on the first night. Siyeon holding did help a lot in actually being able to sleep at all though. "Good company" her hand was now at the waistband of her girlfriend's pants.
"Bora" Siyeon tried to warn, to put that strictness into her voice, but all that came out with that name was just a weak sigh following it. "We should get up soon, we have lots to do and see today" She tried to regain control of her own voice, and also the fact that she didn't want to do anything more but just stay in bed and continue cuddling, or maybe just a little more than that. Both of them knew they couldn't, though, not now.
Painfully aware of why Siyeon called out her name, Bora sighed, pouting a little bit. They were still in the early stages of their relationship and Bora often really wanted her girlfriend. But she couldn't have her mother dislike her even more.
They embraced just a little more time in bed before actually getting up. Siyeon jumped into the shower, and Bora decided to have a cup of coffee before her turn would come. She threw on some home clothes and walked down to the kitchen, which, not surprisingly, wasn't empty.
Still feeling just a little nervous about Siyeon's mother, Bora was careful in her approach, being a bit less 'in your face' than her usual self. "Good morning, Mrs Lee" Not that she would use it, but she realized she didn't even know her name yet.
