Author's note

Hello guyss 💗
Thank you so much for 4K reads!

Note

╰┈➤ Chapter 31 will be the last chapter of the book. There will be two epilogues after the chapter.

╰┈➤ But this is not where our journey ends because we are offically working on Tanmay and Khushi's book! It's gonna be a complete different story from this one, with more deeper and darker themes

╰┈➤ The tittle and cover will be shared soon. Stay in touch by following me on Wattpad and YouTube.

I can't believe this book is coming to an end 🥹

So grateful 🧿❤️‍🩹

"You don't need to do this, you know? I'm perfectly capable of braiding my own hair," she says, fully aware that it won’t make a difference to me

"You don't need to do this, you know? I'm perfectly capable of braiding my own hair," she says, fully aware that it won’t make a difference to me.

"I know you can," I reply softly, "but I want to do it for you. I used to braid Pihu's hair, even when I was just a kid. I actually enjoyed it—it used to be fun."

"Yeah? I'm sure she looked adorable in braids," she says, her back still to me, but I can hear the smile tucked in her voice.

"Oh yeah, she looked so cute. You do too—don’t let Shreya or anyone else tell you otherwise." I finish, tying the rubber band from around my wrist to secure the braid.

"You've told me that like a hundred times. And I've told you what they said didn’t affect me at all."

"Liar liar, pants on fire," I smirk, gently turning her towards me and plucking a few strands of her hair loose, just the way she likes.

"Then why have you started keeping your hair open, huh? Can’t lie to me, Sethi."

The bell rings, cutting her off mid eye-roll, and she scrambles to grab her books from her bag, only to bump her head against the desk.

I can’t help but chuckle.

Classmates start trickling in, sneaking glances our way.

The video I posted—me very obviously singing a song just for her—pretty much confirmed what we are.

Not that I mind. Not at all.

Today, after college, I’m taking Aastha to finally get that plaster removed from her arm.

Not the most romantic date idea, sure—but her parents have been busy, and there’s no way I’d let her go alone.
