Ch.6

Finn decides to park her car the next street over so it doesn't get scratched and we walk the rest of the way to the party. I wish I had opted out of these stupid heels too because right now they're digging into my ankles.

After 5 minutes of walking we reach the biggest house I've seen in a while, actually the biggest house I've ever seen.

As cliche as it sounds, there are red cups littering the lawn and teenagers grinding against eachother, practically spreading STDs through the air. The house, actually no, mansion is lit up with loud music coming from inside and multicolored lights illuminate the porch.

"Who's party is this?" I ask, dodging a couple making out against the steps.

"I'm not sure, some girl was talking about it and I asked for the address, no one usually cares about who's hosting the party unless they're really popular," Bella says quietly. I can see the fear running through her eyes and her and I both know this party was a bad idea.

Bella, Finn and I walk up to the front door, "So do we just walk in or something?" I ask.

Of course usually Finn goes alone to these parties because she knows it's not really me or Bella's forte. But today she decided, along with Bella for some reason, that this party would somehow cheer me up.

Finn rolls her eyes and mutters, "Just follow me Willa."

Immediately as we walk in I see drunken minors grinding on top of each other, why can't they just have normal conversations without practically doing the deed?

Bella says she's going to pee and me and Finn head off to the dance floor.

I push through a couple sweaty bodies and awkwardly dance with Finn for a bit, "Come on Willa! Let loose!" I laugh at Finn, well this is fun.

I throw my hands in the air and catch onto Finn swaying to the beat of the music, laughter surrounds us as Finn semi grinds up onto me, "Are you hitting on me Finn?"

"Hell yeah I am!" Finn shouts twirling me.

After about 30 minutes my tongue has no moisture in it and my throat is bone dry.

"Hey Finn, I'm gonna go get a drink want anything?" I basically croak.

Finn being too busy ogling a boy responds with a quick, "Yeah...Whatever go to the bathroom I'll be right here..."

I walk into the kitchen trying to find a non alcoholic drink, I grab a water bottle and sit on the counter top, I'm pretty sure Finn's too busy flirting to notice me gone.

Bella's probably already back from the bathroom, I text her asking her where she is. She responds quickly saying she's talking with some guy, I tell her to get some, well not literally, and then I put away my phone.

"Willa!!" I hear someone shout.

Looking to me left, I see Blaze coming right towards me, "I was looking for you at the end of the day! Where'd you go?"

"I didn't know you were going to be here Blaze! We still need to talk about homecoming though it's coming up soon, almost a week right?"

"Subtle topic change Willa, and yeah homecoming.. Maybe I can meet up with you one day so we can talk or something, I mean only if you want to.." he says looking at anything but me with a faint blush covering his cheeks.

"Yeah sounds great," I say raising an eyebrow at his pink cheeks, Blaze looks up at me and grins taking my hand.

"Ok, well that aside how about I introduce you to some people?" I nod and hop off the counter, Blaze wraps an arm around my waist as he leads me to the living room.
