**Ch 21 I'm Sorry**

**Edward's POV**

I stood there just staring at the spot that my life just escaped from. I fell to the ground crying. I couldn't move or function. She is gone I have lost the only person I have ever loved. I started screaming in agony. She hates me with every fiber of her being. I deserve that. I am nothing and I deserve nothing. Why did I push her too far? For the first time ever I feel completely dead inside. "Edward, are those tears on your face?" Jasper asked. I looked up at him, but I didn't say anything. He looked frightened at what he saw. "Edward, are you okay?" he asked I didn't say anything. I simply got up and ran to my house and got Bella's vanquish. I parked the car in her garage and went back into her house.

"Do you want to talk about it Edward?" Carlisle asked. I still couldn't reply. It was like I was here but I wasn't. "I tried to warn you Edward. I did say from the beginning you were going to have your hands full with her. She lied when she told you she hated you with ever fiber of her being. When she is hurt or feels hurt she hurts others. Give her some time to cool off. She hates feeling like she is a freak and everything you said just proved to her that she is an even bigger one. Back off when you go to school tomorrow give her; her space or be prepared for another black out and that goes for the rest you guys. I need to head to the store before going home. I'll see all of ya'll later bye." Charlie said before he was gone.

I walked up the stairs to her room. I grabbed a piece of paper and pen and wrote her a letter.

Apologize to the one that I love

I love you so very much,

Even thou at times I do things that hurt,

I try so hard to hope that you always see,

How much you being in my life means to me,

I am sorry yet again for causing you pain,

That is the last thing I ever wanted to do,

Even when I am trying to look out for you and do the right thing

I mess up, I am sorry for that too.

I hope that you still know how much I love and cherish you,

Like nothing else in my life gives me the trill of being loved by you.

So I hope that you listen and see it in my eyes,

This sincere apology that comes with tears from deep inside.

Even though I can't actually shed tears doesn't mean there not there. Bella you have to know how sorry I am; and I hate that you left. I explained to you that I was going to mess up many times before I got something right. I am so sorry. I never meant to make you feel like a science experiment. I just wanted you to realize what it could mean for everybody. I just wanted you to consider it as a possibility and something else we can add to the list of what your able to do and hopefully a step closer to figure out what you are. I know you hate me right now but I really am sorry.

I placed the letter on her bed and walked down stairs to meet with my family. We all headed outside to grab our stuff from the car. "I'll take Angela and Ben home." Alice said as I made my way towards the gate. "Remember not to try and leave Laurent or you'll be sorry." Emmett spoke behind me. I ignored everyone and continued on my walk. Why do I constantly keep pushing her buttons? Maybe it's because she is fucking hot when she is angry. My mind replied. You know you're not helping right now right? What I'm just telling you the truth?! I can't believe I'm arguing with myself right now. I can't believe you are either there is something seriously wrong with you. Will you just shut the hell up right now?!! I just want to be left alone right now. I didn't get a reply so I'm assuming my brain decided to take my advice and shut the hell up.

When I finally made it back to the house everybody was sitting in the living room. I ignored them and made my way to the stairs. I guess just because I decided I was going to ignore them didn't mean they were going to ignore me, since Alice was now pulling me towards the living room. I pulled out of her grip and stomped over to my piano bench and sat down. I traced my hand over my name as I waited for them to begin. "Well if nobody else is going to speak I guess I'm going to have to be the one to begin. What the hell happened to you?" Rose spoke up. "I don't know." I told her all I could. "What do you mean you don't know?! Why the hell are you emerald green and why were you fighting with Bella?!" she was now shouting at me and I snapped.

"GOT DAMMIT ROSE!! I DON'T KNOW!! THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO FIGURE OUT! I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN MY EYES YET SO I DON'T KNOW HOW OR WHY THIS IS HAPPENING OKAY!! IM SORRY I WAS ARGUING WITH BELLA OVER THE SAME SHIT WE ARE ARGUING ABOUT NOW! I AM SORRY, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM ME! I HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE YOU I AM AS LOST AND CONFUSE AS YOU AND THIS SHIT HAS HAPPENED TO ME! I TRIED TO HELP AND THE SHIT BACK FIRED AND NOW I HAVE NOTHING LEFT SO I ASK AGAIN, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!" I shouted at her.

Everyone sat there speechless. I moved away from my piano and walked out the front door, and sat on the porch steps. I sat there in silence thinking of ways I can get Bella to forgive me, but I came up with nothing that would allow her too, so I did the only thing I could think of. I ran up the stairs grabbed a note card and wrote I'm Sorry and headed back down the stairs. I stopped and turned to the rest of my family. "I'm sorry for shouting at you Rose I didn't mean to take my frustration out on you." I told her. She just nodded and I ran out the door and jumped into my car and headed to the store.

When I arrived I headed start towards the candy isle. I found what I was looking for and headed to pay so I could make my last destination before heading home. Not even a few minutes after leveling the store I was pulling to the school. I snuck in and found her locker. I placed the bag of candy in her locker and locked it before taping my card to the outside. I turned around and left sighing realizing she probably just rip it to pieces. When I returned home everybody was still in the living room. "Where did you go Edward?" Carlisle asked me. "I went to do the only thing I could think of to do." I said sighing just thinking how this will look tomorrow.

There was a knock on the door and Esme went to go answer it. "Oh, hello Bella! Come in dear." She told her. We all looked up to see Bella come in with a box. She sat it on the coffee table and opened it up. "I'm sorry about your phones so I went to pick up your new ones." She said. I averted my eyes from her as she handed out everybody's cell. When she called my name I didn't look at her and just grabbed my cell from her. "Thank you Bella. I'm going to turn in early so I'll see you guys in the morning goodnight Bella." I said and made my way up to my room. All I know is tomorrow is going to be hell on earth for me.
