**Ch 54 We’re Having Cajun Tonight!**

**Bella’s POV**

            I flopped down on the lounger inside the cabin where the others are as we waited for the idiots to get the hell out the water. I couldn’t get comfortable so I found me a pillow. “Laurent come over here and sit down.” I told him. He got up and walked over to me. “What do you need Bella?” he asked. I pulled him down on the couch were my head was before placing it on his lap. “I needed a pillow and you were the closest to me so I’m going to use you as one.” I explain getting comfortable. “So what are we doing here Bella?” he asked as he started running his fingers through my hair. “We are only spending half the day here since we already did what you wanted but I thought you would like to see what it had to offer. This way if you see a dish you remember and want to have again you just let me know and I will add that to the list of what I’m making for dinner tomorrow.” I told him quietly.

            It was quiet for a moment until, Alice spoke up. “How are we going to go out for half of the day if it is going to be sunny?” she asked. “Did you actually have a vision that it was going to be sunny?” I asked with a smirk. “No I just checked the weather report.” She said. “Well it’s a good thing that the weather has a tendency to change.” I said before standing up. “Bella are you seriously going to be doing this right now. That water has to be freezing.” Charlie said. I grabbed my bag and went below to change into my bikini I headed back up. “Yes I am going to do that. It is the only way we can do what we want without drawing attention to ourselves.” I told him making my way out to the cabin. “At least take someone with you in case you can’t make the trip there and back.” He said.

            I wasn’t going to lie it was cold as hell out here but I knew that it wouldn’t be fair for Charlie and Laurent to be the only ones that didn’t get a chance to enjoy there day. “I will be fine dad. There is no reason for one of the others to come since they are only going to slow me down. Before I forget when both of those idiots get back up here give them a good smack for me.” I told them before I dived over the edge. Shit that was cold!! I swam past the boat before I turned around and shouted. “You might have to paralyze Edward. I’m not sure if he is still in his mating mode!” I said before speeding off in the water.

**Ben’s POV**

            We all stood there and watched as Bella swam further out until she disappeared. Well she disappeared a while ago for Angela and me but the others still saw here. We went back into the cabin and waited. 5 minutes later there was loud snarling coming from outside the cabin and we all rushed to see what the hell was going on. “Edward calm the hell down it was a fucking mistake alright, I didn’t know you two were playing.” Emmett growled at Edward. “I wouldn’t have hurt her she I mine!” Edward snarled back crouching further down. “I know that you jackass but she is also my little sister and I will protect her even if it’s from you.” Emmett said trying to get Edward to understand and calm down. “I can protect her, you don’t have to.” He growled. “All you are going to do is cause her to run away from you and all she will have is me, so do me the favor keep acting like your domineering self and she won’t be yours no more but mine.” He snipped.

            Oh shit this wasn’t going to be good. “Em, you idiot!! You made it sound like you were trying to still his mate from him!! He is going to kill you, you idiot….look out!!!” I shouted before the others had a chance to, but it was too late Edward has sprung. He was clawing, biting and pulling at anything he could reach. When the other’s pulled him off Emmett just laid there twitching with blood and venom leaking from him. Carlisle picked him up and laid him inside he went a held his loose skin so it could reattach while Edward kept struggling to get free until Charlie ran over to him and messed with his back resulting in a limp snarling Edward. After a few more minutes everyone was calm again and Emmett was back to normal.
