**Ch 69 The Trip **

**Emmett's Pov**

What in the hell just happened? Why did Bella just disappear like that? I couldn't ponder that anymore as the crowd finally settled down and we got on with our graduation for what felt like the hundredth time. I couldn't help but throw glances at Edward he looked like he was seriously constipated which I would have said was impossible if he didn't look like he was about to blow any second. About half way through he bolted from the gym I would have laughed if I didn't see the pained looked on Jasper's face when I turned to watch Edward run from the room. This wasn't going to be good. As soon as Mr. Greene said congratulations myself along with the others were making our way to the exit.

We meet Carlisle and Esme at the door where we hugged her and kissed her cheek before we left. When we got to the house the others were already there. "What the hell is going on?!" Charlie shouted. "We'll explain later, where is Edward?" I said. Just as I finished talking he came running through the trees and towards the house. I moved to intercede him and right now I really wish I haven't as he knocked me to the ground before sinking his fucking teeth into my neck. I tried to push him off but he wouldn't budge. I looked over at the others, "Get him the fuck off of me! Don't just stand there like complete idiots help me!!" I snarled at them when they finally broke out of it and helped me with Edward. When we got him into the house he was still acting crazy. "What is wrong with him?" Esme asked.

I wish I knew. Just than Edward and Jasper fell to the ground in pain. Just to make matters worse Leah started crying hysterically and we couldn't get her to shut up. "What in the hell is wrong with you Leah?" I asked, but the only reply I got was her sobs. "How about we call Bella and see what is going on, she could help." Laurent suggested. "I wonder why we haven't thought of that for over a week. Oh that is right she isn't speaking or wanting anything to do with us, let alone help us." Alice hissed. "I'm sorry I didn't know that I assumed that she was back to normal since Esme wasn't no longer in her prison." He said. "You know I was wondering how you got out of that Esme." Rose said.

It was quiet for a minute well as quiet as it was going to get. "Bella released her for me. She saw how beat up I was over her when she had to inflict pain on her because of what Alice did to her car and we made a deal. If I had her car back in working order for today she would let her go." Carlisle explained. "Okay so what is the deal with Edward and Leah why are they acting like this?" Ben asked. "There is so much emotion coming from the both of them. Pain, confusion, and loneliness. But that is not the worst of it." Jasper choked out. "How in the hell could that not be the worst of it, what is worse than that. They are clearly in agony over what they are feeling." Rose said. "That is mostly Leah's emotions Edward is what makes it worse. Not only is he fighting those but he is also trying to fight what I am now call a mating session, which is the connection and the season running havoc on his system. They are both so strong that he doesn't know how to act. Both instincts want Bella." Jasper panted.

I don't think I can do this anymore. Why can't anything simple for us. I mean seriously I am sick and tired of this shit. If it isn't one thing it's another. What else could possible go wrong now. That is it I am going to her house, if I get killed in the process than so be it, but I am going to talk to Bella now. I was heading for the door when Rose stopped me. "Where are you going?" she asked. "I'm going to talk to Bella I can't do this anymore fire be damned." I spat through my teeth. She nodded. "Okay I'm coming with you, let's go." She said, but we were stopped this time by Charlie. "That won't be necessary she isn't there." He said. "And why is that?" Rose asked. "She isn't there. She left a note on her gate saying that she is going away and wasn't sure if or when she was coming back. And there is no point in looking for her because you won't find her." He stated. I let that sink in before I lost it.
