**Ch 57 Memory Loss**

 

**Charlie's POV**

 

            Well I be dammed she has finally lost it. I thought that Ben was going to close the looking glass but he didn’t. “Okay so I'm going to whip everyone’s memory and leave. I think I go to the ranch and get my G.E.D. online. No that’s stupid I want to walk across the stage okay so I’ll just pretend that I am emancipated minor or I could just ask dad after I wipe his memory I believe he would let me. Ugh why is this so hard to do?! Oh yeah I know why because my stupid ass became attached. You know what fuck it I’ll just erase their memory of me altogether and disappear, and nobody will be the wiser.” She said standing up getting ready to leave, when Ben spoke. “You can't do that Bella.” He said as Bella's head snapped in our direction. “Ben is that you? Where are you, and why can't I see you?” she shot back.

 

            He sighed before speaking again. “That is not important at the moment. I need you to listen to me okay. You cannot do what you are thinking about doing it won't do any good and you know it. Even if you do wipe our memories there is a piece of us missing and we will know it. It will end up killing us in a way that is worse than death and you know it. We would go through the rest of our lives wondering why we feel like there is something missing even after all the things we have done. It just like what you are feeling now but in a lesser amount. Don’t do it Bells. I'm sorry that you are hurting but please don’t do this. Just think about what you are giving up if you do so.” He said and I looked at Bella. “How long have you been ease dropping on me Ben?” She asked. “Just before Jesse came through the trees but in my defense my body was running on auto pilot so you can't blame me.” he explained.

 

            She smirked before speaking. “Should I close it or do you want to do the honors?” she asked him. “Oh god please I am so exhausted.” Ben said and Bella disappeared from the looking glass and appeared beside Ben in a second. Bella slammed her hand down on the center of the looking glass cracking the before blowing on it like it was just dust and the pentagram disappeared. Bella helped Ben over to a chair before walking over to the food and filling up a big glass of juice and some fruit before walking back over to Ben. “Drink this first before you eat the fruit and after you finished all of that then you can eat some regular food.” She said before walking over and making her a plate and sitting down and eating it. “Are we going to address the big ass blue elephant in the room?” Emmett asked no one in particular. “Sure Emmett let’s do that. Ben where did you learn to cast a looking glass spell?” Bella asked Ben as soon as he finish his fruit and was just walking over to the buffet to get him some hot food. “No one taught me it I just know how to do it. I accidently came over it when my uncle passed away. I didn’t know what it was but it felt like my heart was breaking and this haze just takes over and I basic just do what is in me to do. I saw mom in her room with dad crying into his arms and when I was realized what she was blubbering I started crying myself. The only problem with that was I wasn’t paying attention and so when I looked back my parents were doing things I wish I could forget. I swore that I would never do that again unless of an emergency and that’s what happened today.” He said before sitting back down.

 

            He took a bite of his burgers before speaking again. “You know I do feel somewhat guilty because Charlie asked me if something was wrong and I told him no even though I had this feeling of something bad happening. I realized I should have told him before the pain started but then it was too late. You must have realized by now that this is an inevitable conversation but I won't push you on it I gave you my opinion and I will wait for your choice, but if you do pick the other can you leave the fact that Angie and I are together. That would save me a whole lot of stress if I have to get the courage to ask her to go out with me again.” he told her. All she did was nod. “I would also like to remember that I am a vegetarian I don’t want to go back to killing humans.” Laurent said and once again she nodded. “Can you at least leave me with the knowledge of what I am and my acceptance of Sam and Emily? I will be okay with forgetting the rest if that is what you decide.” Leah told her. Bella nodded and headed down the stairs when the others didn’t say anything.
