**Ch 45 Going Home**

**Bella's POV**

            I just stood there as everybody soaked in what I just told them. I looked out the window to see the sun already up in the sky. So far this day is turning out for the worst. I walked over to the coach and sat down by my dad. I just needed to be next to him right now. He wrapped his arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer. “Don’t worry Bells everything is going to work out.” He told me. “Okay there has been a lot of things that I haven’t asked and now I think is the perfect time to get some answer from them before we all have to pack and head downstairs.” Carlisle said.

            I looked over at him and just nodded for him to continue. “The first question I have is when we went shopping with Jesse you told him to men and black the people that were looking at our group. I was wondering what that meant and what exactly is Jesse?” he asked. “Jesse is a wizard. One of his powers is to erase peoples mind and replace it with a different thought. If you have seen the men and black movies it’s the same concept.” I told him. He nodded before he could ask the next question Rosalie spoke. “This has been bothering me and I need you to answer this question for me. How is it that Edward doesn’t catch on fire when you go up in to flames?” I looked at everyone to see that they all want to know this answer. “I can't kill Edward. To kill him will in a way kill me. He is literally my other half, my soul mate. We are connected so intensely that is why when a lot of things happen to me he can sometimes sense it.” I said.

            Before they could speak I continued. “The day he saved you from me damn near ripped my heart out. When I casted that spell it only sealed the deal that that particular gift of mine shouldn’t harm him. As the time goes on I am only going to get stronger and more gifted so somebody has to be able to stop or calm me if and when I get out of hand.” I finished explaining. The next question came from Emmett. “Bella how come you won't tell us your secrets; it’s not like we will tell anybody.” I knew this was going to come up again. “Em, my secrets are only for me. They are things that keep me sane in a world that I don’t belong in. everyone has one. Take Carlisle for instance he has his study, Esme has her garden, Alice her shopping, Rose has her cars, you have your games, Jasper has his history and Edward has his music and meadow. Now you already knew of Edward's meadow, but none of yall have ever been there, not even Alice.” I said.

            “That is his secret place to go and be himself. It’s the same for me. You guys know I have secrets, but you just don’t know what they are. They are my places that I can go and be myself. I don’t have to hide who I am like I do when I'm here or around other people.” I told him. “You pretend with us?” he asked in a broken whisper. “In a way yes I do. I can't be my true self here. That brings me to say, that I will be going away during the first week of summer by myself while Angela is hanging out with her family. This time I will be going by myself and I won't have any fone or internet service where I'm going, so I won't here from yall until I come back.” I told them. “You’re going to the farm aren’t you?” dad asked net to me. I just nodded. “Why are you leaving?” Jasper asked. “Because it is my responsibility and usually I stay there until the summer is almost over and then go see my dad, but since we are traveling I don’t have all that time and I will have to tell the workers that I need them to work this summer. Look we got to get going if we are going to stay on schedule for what Angie has planned for today so we need to meet in the lobby in 20 minutes.” I told them getting up.

**Angela's POV**

            We all headed back to our rooms in silences each of us lost in our own thoughts. Why is someone after Bella? This just doesn’t make any sense when did someone get a chance to spot us? All these questions were running through my head as I packed my room. I think it is time that we all just relax and I know the best place to go. I headed down to the lobby with my bags and waited for the others. As soon as the others arrived we all put our bags by the front desk and went to get something to eat. Even the meal was in silence, I don’t know if we are actually going to get past this.
