The sun was rising up in the horizon, a new morning coming up in the east. Inside the tourbus by the small city and gas station laid the two teenagers sleeping on the couch in each other's arms. Calum was wrapped all around Piper and she was laying up to him with her bare back against his chest. His arms were around her waist holding her up tight to him, while their legs were tangled together skin against skin.

They were both sound asleep breathing softly as the sun begun peaking through the windows of the bus glancing in their eyes. Piper woke with a yawn and blinked her eyes multiple times to get used to the light that was now in her face. She moved slightly to look over at Calum feeling the warmth of his still sleeping body. She had always loved waking up beside someone like that, with the warmth that came from sleeping seeping into her. It was the best thing, even though she regretted the other times that had happened to her.

Carefully, Piper turned her entire self around, so that she was now facing Calum instead. Watching his sleeping face made her smile slightly, and it felt indescribably great to lay snuggled up to him like that. She liked him and she knew it and she didn't feel like it was going to be a mistake to continue her friendship with him or maybe even relationship. Though she didn't want to go into that before knowing him for a while. She had done that before and it had ended terribly every time, she was not at all ready for a new relationship and she hoped that Calum could wait. Because if she was going to be in one again, she wanted it to be with him.

"Calum." She whispered silently her warm breath hitting his face as she spoke. Her face was so close to him and she had to fight the urge to kiss him that suddenly filled her. He didn't move. Piper smiled slightly, before tracing her hand along his jawline softly. "Calum." She spoke a little louder this time and made his eyes flutter open. When his eyes met with Piper's a small smile spread across his face.

He couldn't help but enjoy so much to be this close to her. Especially when all she was wearing was her underwear, himself he was wearing a T-shirt along with boxers as that was what he usually slept in. Not that he couldn't sleep without the T-shirt or something, it had just become some sort of habit for him so that was what he wore to bed.

Suddenly he noticed her hand still touching his jaw and a slight blush crept to his cheeks as he moved his hand from her hip and took her hand in his moving it carefully away from his face. Laying this close to her made him want to just crush his lips upon hers, but he knew it wasn't the right time. This wasn't the magical moment of their first kiss, just a moment of being close to each other. Getting to know each other, just a moment where both were filled with the hunger to kiss each other but in a way did not want to do it. Him because he knew it wasn't right yet, and her because she was not ready for it. Because a kiss leads to a relationship and she wasn't going to be in one now.

Calum couldn't help it, while looking at her he felt like moving his hands from around her waist. It felt awkward now that they weren't sleeping anymore. So therefore he slowly slid his right arm from beneath her and lifted the other off her lighting the pressure on her hip. Then carefully he moved his left hand up to her face and pushed the hair out of her face to see her clearly.

He was staring deeply into her eyes and the way he was looking at her made Piper's cheeks turn pink and made butterflies flutter inside of her. She desperately wanted to look away before doing something stupid, but Calum beat her too it. He wanted to keep it inside his head, but it had been too long to hold it in and he was so close. He could just move a couple centimeters and his lips would be on hers, but he didn't. Instead he managed to confess it instead.

"I want to kiss you." He muttered his hand still by her ear as he had just pushed some hair away. For the first moment none of them reacted to his words. Then Piper jumped up, leaping out of the bed so that she stood on the other side of the bus. Calum's eyes widened as he realized what he had said and he quickly sat up covering his mouth with his hand. He knew it was wrong, but it had just escaped from his mind and out through his mouth. He hadn't even realized he had said it out loud at first. Then her reaction happened and he understood what he had done.
