Piper was quick on helping Calum too his feet again. She was sure that he would think it was something between her and Luke, it seemed like he kind of did actually. Like he was about to hit one of them, Luke most probably. Just that he hadn't, instead his knees had failed him, and he had fell to the floor as though he just couldn't do it. Eventually Piper knew that even if Luke had killed her Calum wouldn't have been able to hurt a hair on his head. They were much too good friends for that.

"Sorry." She told him quickly as she got him back up again. Just as she did Michael was back in the entrance, looking in. Wondering what had happened to his friend that had been chasing him. He discovered Piper standing with her arms wrapped around Calum's torso and his arm was around her shoulder. The two standing in the position they had ended in while she helped him up.

"No, I know you two wouldn't ever.. do anything." Calum said asuring her that he was fine. He was just confused. He could have hit his best friend, that was angry seeing them like that had made him, and he didn't even know why. He knew very well that they didn't look at each other that way, and that they would never do anything like it. Yet the jealousy had taken him over, completely taken control over him for a second there, and it scared him. It scared him a lot.

"I should be the one saying sorry. Luke I could have hit you." He spoke the last part almost in a whisper. His voice shaking slightly. The thought of him actually doing that just freaked him out, because he hadn't thought he could ever do something like that to his best friend, but he almost had just minutes ago.

"You wouldn't Cal, it's okay." Luke asured him, getting up and putting a hand on his shoulder reassuringly. Calum just forced a smile back at him, he didn't want them worrying more about him than they already had but he realized that Luke was wrong. He would, he would hit him if he was angry enough. The way the anger had been controlling him almost completely made him realize it. What if they had kissed? He wouldn't have been able to stop himself. Calum suddenly realized that he had the power to hurt someone, and he would if it came to it.

"You're right." He lied, smiling slightly, and squeezing Piper that was still hanging onto him. "Sorry anyway." He added, just to make sure his friend had gotten the apology. He wanted to give it on beforehand, before he actually did do something. Because Calum had just understood that he could, and he would.

"Uhh... quick question, but what just happened here?" Michael questioned looking between the three in confusion. He really hadn't noticed Luke and Piper on the couch as he ran past so he had no idea why they were talking about hitting each other and stuff. Eventually he didn't even know that he had managed to actually hurt Luke when he let go of him in the stairs where he was standing right then.

"Cal discovered us here, Luke shirtless and me kind of touching him." Piper began, Michael's eyes widening. "I mean because he was hurt!" She added quickly and he let out a slight laugh that was kind of in relief. "Which was actually.. your fault!" She then exclaimed and without any kind of warning both her and Luke attacked him.

"No! Leave me alone I haven't done anything!" Michael managed to shout before all Calum, who wasn't attacking him, could hear was muffled sounds of Michael trying to break free from them. He couldn't help but let out a slight laugh at his struggling friend who incredibly enough was mostly held down by Piper. Calum found that even funnier and even more amusing.

"Stop let me go! I'm sorry!" Michael shouted out desperately when he finally managed to get Luke's hand of his mouth. Even though Calum thought Luke kind of let him.

"Are you sure?" Piper questioned, narrowing her eyes. Michael nodded quickly, and then she looked at him for another second before she jumped off him with a wide grin, that made Calum's insides tingle. Secretly, Luke's insides moved a bit too, but that wasn't so much in liking for her smile, but more of a feeling of guilt towards his friend. For feeling the way that he was.
