In the cafe all the five people were finishing up their breakfast, now talking about what they should do afterwards. Piper honestly needed some new clothes, but she didn't plan to say anything about it. They had already payed for her breakfast, and she couldn't ask for more from them. It was that pride that didn't want to let go of her need to pay for things herself. She felt weak, poor when asking someone else to buy her something.
If it hadn't been for the fact that Calum had said he wouldn't eat if she didn't she would have never let them buy food for her. But Calum was a slight weak spot for her, and she wasn't going to let him not eat. She had realized he thought the same way.
"So.. what to do now?" Ashton asked, quite eagerly as he just finished chewing his last bit of food. He looked around at the others, waiting for them to answer. None of them seemed to have any idea, Piper was thinking she needed to shower, but she had realized it wasn't much of a point to shower if she couldn't put on clean clothes when she was done.
She didn't have any of those, and then it wouldn't help much if she did shower. The thing was that she was starting to feel dirty now, she had gone without showering and changing clothes much longer before, but she was around the boys now. Calum, Luke, Ashton and Michael. She wanted to at least be as clean as she could when she was around others. Especially Calum.
So therefore she was stuck trying to think of a way to fix it. To get some clean clothes, her first thought was to steal some, but she knew that the boys would realize, and she wanted to stop doing those things. She wasn't in great need now, she didn't need new clothes more than anything, and she had promised herself to not steal anything if it wasn't for the greatest need.
"Well... I could need a shower." Piper finally blurted out, turning all heads to her. A smirk grew on Calum's face, and one on Michael's when he noticed it. Piper just rolled her eyes, ignoring their mischievous looks, and silent eye conversations planning something.
"May I join you, Ms. Tamaki?" Calum asked, a glinting in his eyes. Piper rolled her eyes again. She knew he was just kidding around, but it still made her feel uneasy. Even though she did her best to hide it, she had been through this enough times now. She wasn't planning on doing the same with Calum as everyone else before him, and so that meant no him joining her in the shower.
"Cal.." She sighed rolling her eyes a bit again, making him chuckle at her. Then he swung his arm around her shoulder softly to not startle her, but firmly enough to pull her slightly closer to him in the seat. Then he gave her a quick kiss on the side of her head as a little comfort.
"I'm just kidding Pipes." He smiled kissing her another time at the same place. Fake throwing up sounds could be heard in the background coming from Michael and Ashton. Whilst Luke remained silent, just trying to get himself join them. But he couldn't. All he could was stare at Calum and Piper, and try his best to contain the anger that for a moment bubbled up inside of him.
He hated himself right in that moment, for being angry for what made his friend so happy. What made Piper so happy, that was all that mattered right. Luke didn't have any right to ruin it and he wasn't going to either. They deserved each other, and he didn't even deserve their friendship for thinking the way he was.
"But... I can't really do it." Piper spoke again, keeping her gaze at the empty plate in front of her. Not noticing both Calum's and Luke's eyes on her, watching her carefully. Calum almost openly whilst Luke tried his best to not get caught staring at her. But soon the two other boys there was looking at her as well. All four boys wondering what she meant by that.
"What? Of course you can. There's a shower in the tourbus, I thought you had noticed." Ashton said with a slight frown, whilst Calum's previous frown was turning into a look of realization as he understood what Piper meant. He understood, unlike the others why she claimed she couldn't take a shower. It wasn't because she needed some place to do it.
