Chapter 33 : Unspoken

*Langston's POV*

"Langston! Get ya ass up bro!" Julian said shaking me as I was laying on his couch.

"Alright, damn!' I said swatting his hands away from me and sitting up.

"DayDay on his way over here. Once he get here we going to the place for this bootcamp shit."

"Alright." I snapped as I rubbed my eyes.

I reached in my pocket and pulled out my phone; 10:00 AM. Damn, it was early. I yawned as I unlocked my phone, looking through text messages from Rob and a bunch of girls I haven't talk to in months. I sighed and got up off the couch and went upstairs and got ready to leave. My bags were already packed so i got in the shower real fast and got dressed.

"You almost ready?" I heard Julian yell from downstairs.

"Yeah!" I yelled back. "I'm gettin' dressed now"

I grabbed a pair of rgoky sweats out my bag and a no ratchets t-shirt and put them on. By the time I got finished, it was like 10:45. I grabbed my bags and ran downstairs.

DayDay was already outside in the car so me and Julian went outside and got in. Tammy started the engine and drove us down to the place.

"You know Taliah's birthday in like 2 weeks.. What you getting her?" DayDay asked.

"Mannn.." I said scratching my head. "She not even talking to me, so I don't even know."

"I know what you can give her. Ha" Julian said.

"Boy.. Hush" Tammy said still looking forward as she drove.

We got there a few minutes after that. When we walked in, it was practically empty. It was kinda like a house except you had to enter through where the dance studio was. There was a living room, kitchen, bedrooms and everything else. We walked through the dance studio and into the living room, where Taliah was sitting on the couch on her phone.

"Well hello, hello missy." Tammy said as me, Julian and DayDay drop our bags on the floor.

She jumped up, smiled at Tammy then gave her a hug.

"Hey!"

"How you been?" She said releasing from the hug.

"I've been okay.. Just a little nervous about this tour."

"You'll be fine! It'll be fun."

"I hope so."

"Don't worry.. You'll be good" she said as she looked down at her phone. "I gotta go. I'll see yall soon."

She walked out after that and we were all sitting in the living room. It was hella awkward due to the fact that she wont even talk to me, let alone even make eye contact.

"Ayooooo!" A slim yet fit woman said walking in. "Hi guys."

"Uhh.. Hi" i said.

"How rude of me. I'm sorry. I'm Shonda and I'm your trainer and choreographer for the time that you're here."

"Nice to meet you." DayDay said standing up and giving her a handshake. "I'm Dashawn. And thats Langston, Julian and Taliah."

She smiled at all of us and shook our hands.

"You guys got the rest of the day to just chill.. But tomorrow, the work begins!" She said sounding really excited. "I ordered you guys a pizza and it'll be here in a few. Go get settled, make yourselves at home."

We all got up and searched around for all of our rooms. They put our names on the doors and the rooms were huge. I went in my room and closed the door to unpack some of my stuff. After that I sighed and laid flat on my bed looking at the ceiling. I dozed off for a few minutes until DayDay knocked on my door.

"Yo.. We're all having lunch"

"Alright. Here i come." I said sitting up and yawning.

I slouched downstairs behind him and into the kitchen where everybody else was at. I sat down across from Taliah and next to Julian at the table. She looked up from her plate and at me. I looked at her for a few seconds then i looked down, ashamed.

That look in her eyes when she looked up at me was heartbreaking. She looked hurt and betrayed. And I understand why. I shouldn't have made that dumb ass bet.

She got up from the table and left the room. I heard her foot steps as she walked up the stairs and into her room closing the door. I covered my face with my hands and let out a loud sigh.

"Dawg.. I really fucked up. Big time." I said.

"What exactly happened?" Julian asked

"She found out about the bet."

"Bet?" He said sounding confused.

"It's a long story.. But I don't know if she ever forgive me."

"It's Taliah.." DayDay said laughing a bit. "If you show her that you're really sorry, she'll forgive you."

I sighed again and sat back in my chair.

"Just give it a little time bro." Julian said patting me on my back and getting up from the table.

Tuhh.. What an understatement. It's gonna take more than just a little time. That's if she gives me the time of day to even explain myself.
