I knew it..

I knew it even before I stepped foot inside Star's house.

Even weeks before..

I wasn't sure why.

But I felt it.

I remember one night I couldn't sleep and I wondered why.

Not because I wasn't tired.

But because I felt something was off.

But I couldn't tell what..

I remembered getting out of bed and checking everything.

The living room.

The kitchen.

The restroom.

My parent's room.

Everything..

But I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary..

So why did I feel eerie??

And the worst part was that it never went away since that day.

I told my mother about it but she felt that I was probably going through a lot of stress.

Maybe?

But I couldn't tell.

A few weeks went by after that and it sort of went away.

But I was still wary of it.

It was driving me crazy and I didn't now what to do.

But its not like I can fix it.

So I just went about my day.

Until the one time I was walking home from school because my mother was unable to pick me up..

I lived a bit far from school but I wasn't mad.

My mom started working to help ease her depression after her accident a few months back.

She's okay but she can't move as fast as she used to.

So her doctor recommended that she starts working just so she wouldn't feel useless towards her family.

And so far its working..

But now I'm by myself for the most part.

I try not to let it get to me.

But it still sucks..

At least it distracted me of this weird feeling.

But it only did so much.

Because I felt it again as I was walking home.

I had to take a different route because the other way was blocked out.

And I felt it a lot more when I reached Star's neighborhood.

I wanted to ignore it but something told me to go in.

But I honestly have never been to Star's house so I didn't even know that she lived around there.
