#18 I'm So Nervous

Hey guys my name is Alex Plumlee, I'm the younger sister of Mason Plumlee. Yep that's true my brother plays in the basketball team Brooklyn Nets and I wanne follow his footsteps one day and become as big as he is too. So I'm going to this school were they luckily have a basketball team for girls too, when I found that out I immediately applied to become a member of the team. They held what they called auditions for the different places on the field. It wasn't that hard for me though cause my brother showed me how to shoot and a lot of other things so it was kinda easy for me. When we were done with the audition they called the people who made it into the team and of course my name was called. Was I surprised, let me think no not really. But what did surprised me was that I was place as point guard. POINT GUARD. my brother always told me that if I kept shooting the way I shoot I would be placed as point guard one day but right now. Anyway there were a lot of girls that also wanted to play as point guard but they choose the right girl.

So today was a normal day I woke up around 7 o'clock and took a shower and brush my teeth . When I was done I decided to wear skinny jeans and this amazing comfortable green blouse. I wore my pair of black vans and I was dressed. It was now 7.30 so I had enough time before I had to go to school. I decided to eat some cereal. It was almost time to go when I quickly checked my phone. Oh yeah almost forgot today we have basketball practice for the upcoming important match. I quickly went upstairs and grabbed my bag with my sport outfit and of course my shoes. I stuffed them in my backpack and left. On my way to school I listened to some music until I saw this girl named Ally from my team. I honestly don't like her, you know why. She is acting as if she is the best player in the world and that she can get everything she wants. For example: there is this amazing good looking boy that goes to my school his name is Ethan and I really like him. But of course she likes him too and I don't know how she know that I like him but she is always like: ' you don't have a chance with him cause he doesn't like girls like you'. Anyway I just walked past her not wanting to start a conversation with her. I walked into the school and I saw my friends we just talked and laughed with each other. 'Hey Alex' Ethan said walking past me while looking at me. 'Umh he-hey Ethan' I said back clearly sounding a little bit nervous. I could hear him laugh. That really made my heart melt. I just stared while he was walking away. He is so pretty. I didn't even know that my friends were calling my name. When the bell rang I was myself again and we walked to our first class. The lessons went on pretty quick cause it was already lunchtime. I don't know if my friends did it on purpose but we were sitting two tables away from Ethan and his friend. Because of the way I sat o could see him. The way he smiled he is perfect. You know what I also like about him. He stays his self his goofy self and it's attractive, well some people say that it's really immature but you know he is till 15 so it's okay. I tried to eat but I couldn't cause he kept looking at me and I started to blush. I looked away and tried to listen to whatever my friend were saying but my eyes just couldn't stay there they just landed back on Ethan. When he had my attention again he waved. I smiled and waved back. My friend all turned around to see what I was doing and when they saw Ethan they just smiled at me. 5 minutes before the bell would go Ethan walked past me and lightly touched my shoulder. I looked up at him and he winked. I'm melting. The rest of the day I couldn't keep Ethan out of my mind and the time was flying by and soon it was the end of the day which ment basketball practice. We always have like a 10 minute break and I always spend that with my friend and then I go to the dressing room to change into my sport outfit which was a short pants and a T-shirt. When I was changed I walked into gymzaal. To my surprise Ethan was sitting there.I took a deep breath and walked over to him. 'Hello Ethan' I said sitting next to him. 'Oh hey Alex, how are you' he asked clearly surprised that I started talking to him. 'I'm fine, normally I would ask how you're doing but that isn't going to bring this conversation anywhere so I'm just gonne ask you what you're doing here' I said just being my normal self. 'Haha you're right, well I'm looking for a new hobby. Since I have no girlfriend to hang out with I need to find something right' he said nudging my shoulder. I had to laugh. 'So did you already find something or are you still looking' I asked him why walking to the equipment room to get myself a ball. He followed me and shook his head. 'Nope nothing at all, but the mascot is looking pretty sex so I might do that' he said checking out the mascot head and of course putting it on his head. 'We got a A, we got a l, we got e and we got a x. That's Alex' he said trying to make the letters with his arms. 'Hahaha you're funny, but there are a few things. Chearleaders do that you know spelling names and you know that the person who puts his head in it is sweating and all' I said with disgust. He immediately took the mascot head of his head and gagged. 'Well Alex thank you for that information. If you didn't told me that I would probably be dead now' he said relieved. I smiled and started to walk with the ball out of the equipment room. I made my way to the basketball ring and took my shot. 'Wow you're really good, how long have you been doing this' he asked taking the ball out of my hands and to show off his skills. He kept shooting and I just looked how he was shooting cause it was actually really good. 'Well I started when I was 5 years or 6. My brother learned me to shoot and all so all the skills are from him' I said still watching him shoot. 'So you learned it all by your brother and was he good in basketball' he asked now stopping with shooting and passing the ball to me which was a strong one. 'Well my brother is Mason Plumlee so you can say that he made it. 'Wait you mean THE Mason Plumlee. I didn't even know that that was you brother, that's amazing' he said with full admiration. ' Haha yeah I know I only don't see him that much, but Friday he coming to watch me play' I said shooting again. So I kept shooting and it was already time for the team practice but I was the only one. 'Okay pass me the ball let me shoot one for you' he said waiting for me to throw him the ball. 'Nope I think I'll just continue shooting' I said once again shooting the ball and catching it. He walked closer to my trying to slam the ball out of my hand but I wasn't planning on doing that. I ran away with the ball and he just ran after me. 'Ethan there are enough balls in the equipment room' I said still running. He reached me and manege to take a hold on the ball. He was lulling and I kept it super close to my body. He was laughing and I was laughing. We then made eyecontact with each other and just stared into each others eyes. We had our little moment and for a second I thought that he was gonne kiss me but of course the evil bitch needed to ruin things with her squiky voice. 'Hey Ethan, what are you doing with Alex' Ally said walking over to us. I could hear Ethan clearing his throat. 'I was just showing Ethan my little trick' I said proud. 'I can't remember me talking to you' she said turning her back to me. I just wanted to rip every single hair out of her head but god helped me to stay calm. 'Why are you acting so mean towards Alex she didn't do anything' he said crossing his arms. Ally wanted to say something but then the trainer spoke up and said that we needed to stretch and all so Ethan walked away and sat down on the bench. We practice for a good hour and then we were done. I wanted to take a shower cause I was sweating and all but then Ethan aproached me all happy. 'Alex your so good you played everybody out and your just good' he said overexcited. 'Haha thanks Ethan, I'm gonne go change now okay' I said walking towards the dressing room. 'Oh Ye-yeah I'll wait outside for you okay ?' He said waiting for my answer. 'Okay see you then' I said now walking away. OMG crush is waiting for me, why?
