"hey kid you ready?" Cameron teased me. We're in line for the audition today and I'm pretty nervous.
"Dude what if I suck?" I asked him staring off into space.
"Only this dick." he mumbled thinking I couldn't hear him, but I did.
"Hey man." I slapped his chest. I shook my head smiling at what he said.
"You're gonna do fine. Don't worry, don't stress, you're great." he assured me.
"I'm a brunette with blue eyes who can cry on demand in Los Angeles. I'm not the only one Cam." I told him feeling pretty upset.
"Let's go over lines." he said. I sighed, but agreed to it. We went over lines for 30 minutes when Cameron was called in.
"Don't suck!" I smiled.
"I'll try not to." he laughed and walked in. I sat there messing with my hand, and well I'm as nervous as ever.
"Serena Grier." I heard my name being called. I shuffled around and almost tripped as I was walking in, but hey I made it in alive.
I walked into a room with a blue screen, a camera, and four people behind that camera. I stood in front of the camera and just bounced up and down waiting. All four of them were looking at my headshots, and looking at me up and down.
"I'm Serena Grier here trying out for Savannah Peters. " I said.
"I love your accent!" one girl said. I laughed and thanked her for the the compliment.
"Have you ever been to an audition?" the only guy in the room asked me. I shook my head no and pursed my lips. Damn I should've lied.
"Can you speak in an american accent?" another lady said. I laughed even more because my accent was just loved like ten seconds ago.
"Yes, I can speak well with this accent." I said with the american accent. Even though it sounded more southern. Still American though.
"Sounds real!" the first girl chirped. I thanked her again and they told me everything I would be doing.
We did the scene and I think I perfected it.
"That was great Serena!" the guy smiled.
"Alright now what do you do other than acting?" a brunette who looked about 30 asked me.
"I make youtube videos, go to college, eat." I answered her question.
"What made you audition for us today?" she asked.
"Umm my friend actually Cameron Dallas told me I should try out for the part, and well I have nothing better to do."
