"Dan Heng?! Y/n?!"
The Trailblazers burst through the luxurious gates of the Palace of Astrum, only to find... no one. No one they had any interest in seeing at least.
"Ah, forgive me. The white lies to send you here were all my doing," A voice thundered out from somewhere deeper in the slightly busy room, "because I need your help."
A tall man with an imperial presence started making his way towards the pensive trailblazers. Even Welt couldn't hide his disdain entirely, for no one could simply overlook being deceived over something so urgent. His hair had a shagginess to it, not in an unkempt way, but in a way that showed a sort of regalia. His piercing gaze was electrifying, sending shockwaves to the souls' of the trailblazers. His posture was perfect, and every step he took resonated with the tiled flooring.
"Are we to assume that you are General Jing Yuan?" Welt crossed his arms and stood in front of his younger disciples, just in case this person before them harbored ill intentions, which he would not be surprised if his theory was right.
"At your calling. I had originally sent my retainer to receive you, but I believe his path was intercepted by distant memories too tempting to ignore. I presume you are aware of the dire circumstances that plague the Luofu at the moment as they have something to do with you, no?" Jing Yuan answered some of the burning questions that had yet to be spoken with such suave charisma that it was hard to have any lingering doubts.
"You mean the Stellaron Hunters? 'Something' is putting it haphazardly. Our only intentions are to stop them from potentially bringing a cataclysm upon the Luofu, nothing more." Welt answered in kind, but Jing Yuan was much more privy then how he presented himself to be.
"You still hold reservations towards me, hm..." He hummed his thought out loud, although hearing it caught Welt off guard. He hadn't thought he made it so obvious, or perhaps Jing Yuan was simply that worthy of his title.
"Naturally it's because I asked for you to bring Y/n before me, so you must think that I have a brewing hostility towards you." Jing Yuan tapped his chin absentmindedly before walking down the steps just a few feet from them. His eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief, before he flashed an award winning smile.
"More like demanded. Someone of your status asking for someone who is only really taking refuge on the Express has a scary subtext, don't you think?" March spoke up for once and actually said something relevant and profound.
"My sincerest apologies then. I hadn't considered the perspective of our strangers from afar. My excitement got the better of me. To show good faith, I will enlighten you of the truth of why I summoned you here to the Seat of Divine Foresight." Jing Yuan gestured to the architecture surrounding them with a welcoming smile.
"To put it bluntly, Y/n was meant to be my betrothed before this current disaster struck and her family sent her away for safety reasons." He didn't waste time getting to the point as he said and hit the trailblazers with a bombshell.
"WHAT?!" Everyone but Welt chimed in with the same jaw dropped expression.
"I didn't realize Y/n held such a status here!" March remarked with an exasperated smile. "Is this the first canon ship?" Stelle muttered to herself and scratched the back of her head. "No wonder I never stood a chance..." Caelus kicked his feet in defeat with a small groan.
