Harris' POV
After the meeting with my share holders came to a close,i made my way to my office..my morning was turning out to be a busy one,as expected.i got to my secretary's desk to collect some files for my meeting with a very important investor.
"Rachel is the file for swann corp ready?" i asked a little bit distracted with my phone
"Yes sir..just a minute..here it is".she said after grabbing it from her drawer and handing it over to me.
"Thanks.i wont be in the office by twelve.i have something important to attend to so cancel my appointments untill i get back"i instructed while heading to my office.
"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting Miss Tracy".i said as i took my seat.my office was very large and spacious with a nice view of the city.that was what drew me in the first day i came into the office.
"Not to worry i kept myself busy with the view of the city..you have a nice office"
"What can i say,i only go for the best"i said with a smirk.
"I would expect nothing less"she said as she leaned in closer giving me a nice view of her chest.she was a striking beauty but i was getting tired of women who easily threw themselves at me.this was clearly an invitation but i decided to decline.i was starting to think something was wrong with me.
"Ok.lets get straight to business shall we..i have your file.we are thinking of expanding the company.since your father sent you instead of coming personally,i want to believe you are fully aware of the business agreements and the contract that needs to be signed to seal the deal?".i asked to make sure i wasn't working with a five year old.
"Of course Mr Harrison..you are in good hands"she purred seductively.
"I see..ok lets go over the contract that has been drafted and see if there are any adjustments to be made"i said looking at her suspiciously.
"Anything you say"..we went through the contract and all the while she kept on saying things with double meaning.i had to endure the act of seduction she was putting on for another thirty minutes.
"That would be all for today" I said with relief visible in my voice
"I'll get back to my father for his input..see you soon.".we shook hands but she held on longer than necessary rubbing circles on my hand.
"Thank's for coming.,enjoy the rest of your day".When she finally left and i carried on with my work.Jerry also came in to say hello but not without teasing me about the afternoon i had planned with bridget.he also said i should let her down easily.i just smiled but deep down,i knew i wouldn't do that.i left the office in record time to go pick up max and bridget.i got to the school and waited in the car.Max came out first and i got down to open the door for him.
"Hello Uncle your early"he said as i lifted him into the car
"I know buddy.How was your piano lesson.i hope your getting better".I asked as i scattered his hair.
"Uncle don't do that anymore.I'm a big boy now".He said with a cute pout on his face and i laughed.
"I have a surprise for you guess what it is"i said after entering the car
"You bought me a new toy"he said while jumping on his seat.after he got two more trials wrong i decided to just tell him
"We are going out for ice cream and after that,we are going to go to the park and guess what..miss bridget agreed to come with us"i finally said
"That's great uncle..we are going to have so much fun"he kept jumping on the seat
"Great..here she come's act cool".i told max as he tried to control his excitment
