Chapter Seventeen:Flash Back(UNEDITED).

FLASH BACK.

Five years ago.

"Listen up class..i know everyone is excited about the talent show and i was told to inform you all that it has been moved up so guess what..the talent show will be taking place next week" There were collective gasps in the classroom as everyone turned to one another murmuring.

"I know i know.I hope you all are prepared..There is a bonus package this year,the winner of this year's talent show gets a recording contract with Star Bucks Record for a whole year"Mrs Bricks was so excited as she announced to the class the news.She was in her late 50's but her eyes never failed to dance in delight whenever the talent show was approching.

"Just so you all know,the owner Mr Terry,is a friend of my parent's so it'll be a waste of time if any of you enter the talent show" Snobbish Samantha stood up as she addressed the class.she was the daughter to one of the richest men in the country and she was such a snob.

"For God's sake,Samantha sit down..No one cares" Bridget even at a tender age wasn't shy to voice out her opinion and that is why she and samantha never saw eye to eye.Bridget had values whereas,Samantha was a spoilt rich kid.Bridget was the only one in school who dared to put samantha in her place when the school authorities could not.To some students,Bridget was their voice,she was their hero and that only worsened samantha's hatred for her.Because she was a snob,bridget came up with a nick name for her Snobbish Samantha and that name caught on.

"Settle down everyone.there is no need to argue.We just have to.."the school bell suddenly rang indicating it was time to go home.everyone got there bags as they hurriedly left the class.

"Bridget,i'ld watch my back if i were you" Samantha and her three minions blocked my path as i was about leaving the class room.

"I'm shaking in my boots.just because your rich doesn't give you the right to treat people like trash.i hate the likes of you and i wont stand and watch you push people around.Get that into you head" Samantha visibly paled as bridget reproached her.she wasn't used to people talking back at her.

"You are just jealous because you have nothing..you hear me,nothing.your likely to end up in the slumps just like your prostitute of a mother and your drunkard of a father.you are just a shameless wannabe" Samantha's eyes twinkled with hatred as she spat venomous words to bridget.

By this time the school was almost empty except for a few students and teachers lurking around.Bridget slapped samantha hard on the face in anger"Dont you ever in your life speak about my parents in such manner"

Bridget's best friend came running into the classroom to stop the brawl and save her friend from the wrath of the principle.
"Bridget lets get out of here.she is not worth it".Her best friend tried to reason with her.

"Arghh..You bitch!"Samantha was so angry you could probably see fumes evaporating from her ears.Her three minions were in complete terror as they tried to calm their Queen down.

"And dont you forget it." Bridget left the classroom with her friend leaving behind a seething samantha.

"You will pay for this Bridget Summers..I promise you." Her voice could be heard from the hall way but bridget didn't mind.she left the school premises with her friend and they headed home.

NEXT DAY
"So what will you be doing for the talent show" Bridget and her friend Amy were having lunch in the school cafeteria as they discussed there plans for the talent show.

"I'm going to do a new song i wrote.i want to put my best into this.Mr terry is like one of my idiols and i want to impress him besides if i win,this is going to be like taking a huge step to becoming a famous singer..What about you my friend"
Unknown to them,one of samanthas minions overheard there conversation..she hurriedly left and told Samantha who inturn started plotting.
