Chapter Fifteen:Sly Fox(UNEDITED).

SIX HOUR'S EARLIAR.
I walked into the school premises early in the morning and found an all too familiar car in the parking lot.Pretending not to see it,i hurriedly half walked,half ran to enter the building,but i was out of luck because he spotted me and caught up with me but i refused to ackwoledge his presence untill i got to my office where he slammed the door after getting in.Clearly someone was in a foul mood.

"Bridget we need to talk." He was dressed impeccably in a blue suit paired with a black tie.He looked really delicious and i had to literally pinch myself to stop myself from ogling him.

"As far as i'm concerned,i said everything i had to say." I busied myself doing irrelevant things just to avoid looking at his eyes.Those beautiful eyes that i get lost in whenever i looked at him.

"No you said everything you had to say and i didn't get a word in.If you'll just let me explain.." I cut him off before he could go any further because i just couldn't listen to his excuses.

I stopped what i was doing and looked him in the eyes so that he would know i wasn't messing around."You have no right to just walk in here demanding that i listen to you.I was very clear with you the last time when i said i wanted nothing to do with you and that still stands."

After saying that,his eyes were down cast and i took that opportunity to look at him closely.He definitely lost some weight and i could see bags under his eyes,he looked stressed so much so i felt like kissing the saddness away from his beautiful face but knowing him,i also had to come to a decision,noboby would take me for a ride,not anymore and i planned on sticking to that.

"You set your priorities when you decided to treat me like dirt and i won't stand for that shit.Not from anyone and especially not from you.Now if you'ld excuse me,i have to get to class ASAP."I made an attempt to open the door but in a split second,i was roughly backed against my office door so that i was in between him and the door.

I tried to break free but that didn't work.He held my hands in his hand and placed them above my head as he pressed his body against mine.

We stood so close i was pratically breathing his air."This is what you do to me" He said in a whisper and immediately his lips came in contact with mine,i could feel an intense amount of heat radiating through us and i could feel butterflies in my stomach i could hardly breath.I stopped trying to break free,i stopped yelling as i just fucking kissed him back with all i had, ready to give as much as he was willing to take...His kisses were so compelling it was almost next to impossible for me not to respond as sparks flew between us.

"This is how you make me feel" He deepened the kiss as his tongue met with mine,his teeth bitting my lips and our breathing out of control.it was a short kiss but filled with so much anger,hurt but most of all,passion..It left me breathless.My head was telling me to stop before we went any further but my body had a mind of its own.

"I want a second chance..I need to redeem myself." And just like that,it all came back;the hurt and disappointment and so,i shoved him away but not without giving him a slap.I guess he didn't see that coming because he looked disoriented for a bit.

"Dont you ever do that again"He ran his hand through his already disheveled hair as he spoke with pain and desperation.

"i dont regret doing that and i know you don't either..I know you feel thisss..thing between us and it was evident when i kissed you.You cannot deny that"He said as he slowly approached me

"Harris just leave me alone..just go already" I was already exhausted even though it was still the early hours of the day.

"I'll go but i need you to hear me out first" He dipped his hands into his pocket and looked at me squarely like he wasn't going to bulge no matter what i said.

"That's not going to happen.I have a class to teach in the next 5 minutes so get out" I grabbed my teaching materials and left the office but just as expected,he followed me.I stopped in front of the class i had to teach and he was still behind me.

"Mr harris,my patience for you is gradually growing thin" I said in a hiss like voice that should have had him running in the opposite direction but seeing it's Harris we are talking about,he stood firmly looking somewhat relaxed and comfortable in his own skin while i on the other hand was freaking out because someone might see us.

"We honestly need to talk...If after hearing me out you still decid you want nothing to do with me,you'll never see me again..That's a promise..What do you say" He patiently waited for my response while my heart was racing like i just ran a marathon.

"Fine.i'll let you know when we can meet now please leave.I still love my job" I gently pushed him away even though he didn't bulge but after a brief stare down,he finally left without saying a word."

"Arghh..the nerve of that guy..Walking in here like he owned the place and leaving me smitten.Arghh" Linda was passing along the hall way and caught me starring into space.

"What are you doing here.wait let me guess..this has got something to do with Harrison" she smiled slyly while poking her fingers at me.

"is it that obvious?" I asked feeling quite embarrased.

"Duh..Its all over you and besides,i saw him follow you into your office" She said as she Wiggled her eyebrow's at me.

"Arghh..i have to go..I'll see you at lunch time"I hurriedly left before she started asking question's i didnt have answer's to.

I ended up teaching classes and making up for the days i was absent.I was so busy,i forgot to check up on max.I haven't spent much time with him lately.I mentally reminded myself to spend more time with him.I grabbed my cell phone and headed to the cafeteria to meet up with Linda.I got there but she wasn't in any of the tables.I occupied an empty table so that i could wait for her while taking bites from an apple i grabbed along the way.

I was almost done with my apple when Melissa came and sat with me on my table.She was looking really pretty in her black blazer paired with a grey pencil skirt.

"Hy girl! I heard you were sick.i hope your ok now" she said as she looked at me with sincere concern on her face

"I'm better now thank's for asking."I smiled at her.

"Good to know.Where is Linda.I haven't seen her all day to congratulate her" She said as she ate her fries.

"Urhmm..What do you mean by congratulate her?" I asked because i was completely lost.

"You know,on her transfer...to Italy." I guess she saw the puzzled look on my face because she went on to explain further.

"She was one of the few people who got transferred to Italy to fill the spots in the new music academy being established over there.I guess she applied and got accepted" She continued to explain completely unaware i wasn't in the know of everything she had just said.

"Wait...you didnt know"she asked finally taking a hint.

"Please excuse me" i got up from my seat and immediately made my way to Linda's office.
