Jasmine:

I eventually felt my eyes going heavy and feeling sleepy.

Not much long later I fall asleep again without knowing feeling safe and warm in her car.

Letting the long the drive be while I sleep.

I get woken up by Ms Jimenez letting me know that we're here.

It took me a while to wake up and she kept on lightly shaking me not startling me or anything. Her voice soft and a bit firm to notify me that we've made it.

I finally stir awake half asleep in her car and stretch. Letting myself adjust to my surroundings of David's neighborhood and to her siting next to me.

"Hey you ready to go" she asks softly her hand a bit above my knee comforting. Making me feel at ease to go.

I hum and nod letting her know that yeah and stretch a little before I get up and go feeling eyes on me.

After that stretch I grab on the car handle and hesitate a little. Im going to miss her even though I'll see her on Monday. It's just I have no idea what's going to happen when my mom picks me up.

From feeling those brown eyes on me she noticed I hesitated.

"Hey" she whispered softly and a bit firm to calm my attention.

I pulled my hand away from the handle of the door and look at her.

"Hey just know that you're welcome in my house okay? And you may call me for whatever or whenever you need okay?" She says and hold my hand that's on my lap.

I nod "I appreciate it thank you" saying it very sincere and grateful. Without thinking I just hug her tightly, slightly surprising her because she stiffened a little.

I'm so grateful for her

"Of course" she whispered reassuringly holding me tight with the same sincerity feeling there is.

After some time hugging I pull back first and release a breath I felt myself holding.

"Alright I should go" I say sounding a bit sad that I don't want to leave you were even able to hear it in my voice.

She whispers "yeah" while nodding  clearly agreeing with me.

I finally had the guts to open the door and get out of the car.

Before I even got to close the door I told her "thank you Ms Jimenez" I say smiling.

She giggles "of course...but remember just you and me and it's Brianna okay?" She says it sounding like a funny reminder from my playfulness.

Which all I did was nod and I head out the car and close her car door.

Which then I crossed the street to head to his house. Feeling watched by her.

Since she parked a bit far so that way no questions occur if David sees me with her.

I knock at David's door waiting for him to answer. Making it feel a bit exciting because it's been a while.
