Jasmine:

I had head home to finally go see my little siblings.

Thankful that they are safe and fine I was even in a good mood to cook them something.

I honestly missed them and was worried when my dad threatened them

"Hey guys" I said walking into the house and seeing my little siblings on the couch.

"Yo we missed you" said Philip hugging me tightly.

"I missed you too dude" I say patting his head.

"Ye we did" said Maria who had joined into the hug with me and Philip.

My mom looked at us full of love and admiration. Just being present and I believe feeling the moment.

Before I even got to have a full conversation with my siblings my mom spoke up.

"There is some food in the kitchen if you want some. But I need to go I have to go to work so I'll see you kids later okay?" She said kinda sadly as in saying sorry to ruin the fun or happiness.

I nod and she leaves out the door saying "I love you" which I said it back and ate with my siblings.

Talking to me about how their weekend went, What happened when I was gone, etc.

So I had enjoyed that weekend talking to my siblings, doing homework, and just chilling.

3 weeks later....

It's now in the middle of September and these past few weeks have been peaceful without my dad here.

Honestly I could get used to it. My bruises have been healed and my dad is in custody awaiting his case.

Which me and mom will testify against him. I'm not excited but I'll just get it over with.

I've been doing really good in school as well.

Me and Brianna have been talking a little on getting to know her and how I am. As well how I've been doing dealing with my dad.

She was happy when I told her about my dad being in jail. She congratulated me and hugged me.

"Wow Jasmine congratulations I'm so happy for you. And about time you won't need to deal with him anymore. You didn't deserve all that hurt." She whispered in my ear while hugging me.

Her whispering in my ear gave me butterfly's. Even still thinking about it, I still have butterflies. That was a good day.

It's now Thursday, one day before Friday which I can't wait for the weekend. I'll be going out with my family since my mom finally has a couple days off. We'll be going to some park I don't really know my mother didn't really say much.

However I got up having a weird feeling gut in my stomach but I just ignored it, and got ready for school heading to the restroom to do my business.

Once I was done I had got dressed and gather my stuff for school. After, I had head downstairs to make little sandwiches for my little siblings.

Which they were egg and bacon sandwiches I made last night. All I did was to put mayonnaise in the bread and then heat them up.

After it was heat up I put them on a plate for us to eat and wait for them to come downstairs. While I was waiting I had packed up a couple snacks and a water bottle for school.

When I was done I finally sat down at the table and eat one of my egg and bacon sandwiches. Which finally my younger siblings came down and ate with me.
