AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
For a few seconds, she stood frozen, as if the ground beneath her feet had disappeared.
Her face flushed, not from embarrassment, but sheer rage. Her hands clenched at her sides.
Jaw tight, she stepped forward slowly, climbed the steps to the stage, and snatched the mic.
Her voice trembled at first then exploded.
"Sharam nahi aati?!"
She glared at Amrita, her tone fierce. "You're a senior, not some child so you should behave like a senior ...and that's the reason I am controlling myself... you should be flat on the floor with a slap right now."
Gasps echoed again.
The audience was stunned. No one dared to speak.
Akshat nodded his head with a slight chuckle, as he mummered.
"That's my girl....Tell them, Amrit... that you're mine. That you're my wife...stand for yourself."
Amrit went closer to Amrit. "Sharam to tumhe aani chahiye! Shadishuda ho kar... extra-marital affair? That too With your professor?!"
But before Akshat could even open his mouth, Amrit snapped, stepping between them.
"Nahi aati sharam. Kya kar logi? Karungi affair. Extra-marital bhi karunhi. Tum kya kar logi, haan?!" she shouted, her voice sharp like steel.
Amrita's face twisted with disgust.
"Sharm to aati nahi tumhe... cheap kahin ki!"
Amrit tilted her head with a mocking smile. "Haan, hun cheap. Aao... tumko bhi coaching de deti hun."
The audience was now stunned silent, not knowing whether to interfere or just witness the explosion.
Akshat, standing near the stage stairs, covered his face briefly and muttered under his breath:
"Hey Bhagwan... yeh ladki gusse mein kuch bhi bol deti hai."
Just then, Amrita shouted again.
"How dare you?! Tum Akshat sir ke sath affair karke har cheez ka faayda utha rahi ho!!"
All eyes snapped toward Akshat, expecting him to be angry, flustered, maybe even defensive.
