AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
Vishakha and Rakshit's gaze shifted towards the window. Slowly, they walked towards it and peeped outside. Their eyes widened in shock when they saw Akshat hanging from the window ledge, gripping onto the edge with a mix of fear and desperation.
"Hello!! Everyone, aap sab yahan?" Akshat stammered, his eyes darting around as he noticed not just Vishakha and Rakshit but also Krishiv, Vedant, Vihaan, Preeti, Anika, Kavya, and Nandini standing behind them. He gulped nervously, knowing there was no way out of this.
"Akshat, tu yahan kya kar raha hai?" Vishakha asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
Akshat blinked rapidly, scrambling for an excuse. "W...wo actually...haan! Yahan kabootar the apna ghar bana ke...toh bhaga raha tha!" He let out a forced chuckle, trying to sound convincing.
Rakshit raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Kyun? Ab professor se safai karmchari ban gaya hai kya?"
"Upar aa pehle," Krishiv ordered, shaking his head. "Aaj tera hisaab-kitaab hoga."
Akshat sighed in defeat, realizing he had no escape. He hesitated for a second before reluctantly grabbing Krishiv and Vedant's hands as they pulled him inside the room. He straightened his shirt, avoiding everyone's piercing gazes.
"Ab koi bata sakta hai ki yeh sab kya ho raha hai?" Vishakha demanded, looking at everyone expectantly. "Aur tu yahan kar kya raha tha, Akshat? Koi samjhayega mujhe?"
Akshat exhaled heavily, his gaze flickering towards Amrit. He knew there was no way to hide the truth anymore. Amrit gave him a slight nod, signaling that they had to come clean.
"Maa, wo..." Akshat started hesitantly.
Before he could continue, Vihaan spoke up, his voice firm. "Maine bataya toh tha aapko."
Vishakha and Rakshit's heads snapped towards Vihaan in shock. "Kya?"
"Haan didi," Preeti chimed in. "Hum sab aapko uss din batane aaye the, par aapne jaisa react kiya, kisi ki himmat nahi padi."
"Aur yeh sab abhi se nahi hai, bahut pehle se hai," Anika added, her voice calm yet firm.
Akshat's jaw dropped. "What?! In sabko pata tha?kab kaise kahan? Aur hamse baat kyun nahi ki kisi ne...kahin choti shaitan ne to nahi bataya sabko." His mind was reeling. He turned to look at Amrit, only to find her staring back at him with the same confusion.
"Nandini didi ya Kavya didi ne kuch bola kyun nahi kabhi?" Amrit thought. "Aur agar pata tha toh Nikhil ki birthday planning mere paas kyun karne aaye the? Chal kya raha hai yahan?"
