AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
The keycard beeped softly, and the door to the hotel room clicked open earlier than expected. Krishiv stepped in quietly, loosening his tie with one hand, the fatigue of meetings still clinging to his posture, but the second he heard her voice, his exhaustion faded like mist in morning sun.
His eyes landed on Kavya, sitting cross-legged on the plush hotel room couch, wearing a simple light blue top and her favorite grey pajamas. Her hair was tied up messily, a few strands framing her glowing, makeup-free face. The way her face lit up while she giggled and animatedly spoke into her phone made him pause mid-step.
"...Phir he was so embarrassed... tujhe yaha hona chahiye tha, Amrit! Unki shakal dekhne layak thi!" Kavya was saying, breaking into peals of laughter. "I swear, I was trying to hold my laugh but..." she covered her mouth dramatically.
Krishiv narrowed his eyes, raising a brow as his lips curled into a smirk. Accha ji... trying to embarrass me in my absence, huh? Not fair, Bulbul ki mummy, he thought, silently placing his laptop bag down and slowly walking toward her, unheard.
Kavya noticed him out of the corner of her eye, but didn't think much,he probably needed to get something from the closet. She was too caught up teasing him with Amrit.
But suddenly, she felt his presence right behind her.
Her words faltered as her laughter caught in her throat. Her eyes widened when she saw Amrit's mischievous grin grow wider through the screen.
Before Kavya could turn, she felt the softest pressure on her cheek.
Krishiv had leaned down and placed a tender, warm kiss just near the edge of her smile.
"Hi," he whispered low, lips brushing her skin, his breath sending a shiver down her spine.
She froze, momentarily stunned, as if someone had hit pause on her entire system. Her face flushed crimson, her fingers tightening slightly around the phone. She gulped silently, heart racing, and managed to glance at Amrit, who was now openly laughing.
"Hii Amrit!" Krishiv said cheerfully, as if nothing had happened, straightening up and walking casually toward the closet, his back now turned to both women.
Kavya sat there speechless for a second, lips slightly parted, still recovering.
Amrit, of course, didn't let the moment go.
From across the room, Krishiv chuckled softly, pretending to focus on hanging his coat. But the grin on his face said everything.
Steam still clung faintly to the air as Krishiv stepped out of the bathroom, towel hanging loosely around his neck, his hair damp and tousled. He was wearing a casual light-blue shirt and black jeans, his usual no-fuss, effortlessly charming look.
