AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
The night had been long, filled with music, laughter, and celebration. But now, as Vidya lay on her bed, silence surrounded her. She turned to her side, staring at the ceiling, when suddenly, a thought struck her.
Her brows furrowed as she sat up. She quickly got out of bed, walked toward her cupboard, and opened it. There, tucked among her clothes, was something that didn't belong to her.
A black blazer. Not just any blazer, his blazer.
Her fingers ran over the fabric as she carefully pulled it out. It still carried his scent, a mix of cologne and something uniquely him. A strange warmth spread through her chest as she slowly sat back on the bed, holding the jacket close.
Without thinking, she wrapped it around herself, feeling its warmth engulf her. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she hugged it tightly, burying her face into the material.
"Kya mai thodi bataungi ki Rajat tumko pyaar karta hai." Naina's words echoed in her mind.
And then, a memory resurfaced.
Flashback,
In the Morning, The birds were chirping as Vidya walked toward Amrit's apartment, her dupatta swaying with her steps. She had been lost in thought, not paying much attention to her surroundings, when something or rather, someone caught her eye.
She stopped in her tracks, her heartbeat slowing for a second before picking up pace. A car had just pulled up in front of the building, and stepping out was him.
Rajat.
He ran a hand through his slightly messy hair, adjusting his watch as he casually closed the car door. He wasn't even aware of her gaze, but for Vidya, that moment changed everything.
It wasn't like she had never seen a man before. It wasn't as if she didn't know who Rajat was. But something about the way he moved, his effortless charm, the way his shirt hugged his frame just right, the confidence in his stance made her breath hitch.
Her mind was in turmoil. She wanted to talk to him, but how? What would she say? She doesn't know his name and the same goes with him and he didn't even see her. What will he think?
"'Hi?' No, too simple."
"'Excuse me?' aisa lag raha uska 500 rs gir gaya hai aur mai vapas dene bula rahi."
"Aap kaun hain?" Stupid, Vidya. Tu kya yahan ki malkin hai jo puchegi what if wo bol de ki aap kon aapse matlb to mai kya karungi ek baar me izzat koode wale gadi ke sath chali jayegi."
