AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
The post-wedding celebrations were in full swing, and now it was time for the much-awaited ring ceremony. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the couples prepared for the fun challenge.
Akshat and Amrit were the first to go. They sat beside each other as Preeti brought a large vessel filled with milk, in which the ring was carefully placed.
"1, 2, 3... START!!" Anika announced eagerly, clapping her hands.
Amrit, ever the determined one, immediately plunged her hand into the vessel, her brows furrowing in concentration as she searched for the ring. She was too focused to notice Akshat, who instead of searching, was just watching her with a soft smile.
And then, just as she thought she was close-she felt his fingers wrap around hers.
Her eyes widened in surprise, her head snapping up to look at him. He smirked.
Still holding her hand, he guided it through the liquid, effortlessly leading her fingers to the ring. And then, just as suddenly as he had grabbed her hand, he let go.
She gasped slightly as she felt the cool metal against her fingers. She grabbed it immediately and yanked her hand out of the vessel with a victorious grin.
But before she could even process the win, the room erupted into cheers and hoots.
"Wahhh! Amrit jeet gayi!" Anika cheered.
Amrit, who had been glowing with excitement, suddenly turned beet red as she realized what had happened, everyone saw how effortlessly Akshat had helped her.
Vihaan smirked, shaking his head. "Kya bhai, jaan bujh ke kaun haarta hai?"
Akshat leaned back, his expression calm yet smug. "Jisse meri patni ko khushi mile, wo haar kaise hui?" he said smoothly.
Another round of loud cheers filled the room. Amrit, completely flustered, looked down, biting her lip to contain her smile.
But before Akshat could reply, Preeti suddenly turned to Vihaan with a smirk. "Aur tum kya keh rahe ho, Vihaan? Khud toh ring dhoondhne ke bajaye andar hi chupke se Anika ko pass kar di thi!"
Vihaan's eyes widened. "A..Aapko kaise pata?" he stuttered, looking caught.
Preeti folded her arms. "Hamara saalon ka tajurba hai beta."
Laughter broke out again as Vihaan turned away in embarrassment, while Anika patted his back, giggling.
As the room was still buzzing with laughter and teasing from the ring ceremony, Akshat turned to Amrit with a soft gaze. Without a care for the world, he lifted her hand and pressed a tender kiss to her knuckles.
