AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
The world around him was dark , too dark. A strange, silvery mist swirled around his feet, the kind that hides everything it touches. His chest felt tight, like he’d been running for hours, yet his legs refused to stop. Somewhere far ahead, through the fog, he saw her , Amrit.
She stood in a faint beam of light, her white dress fluttering softly, her hair moving gently with the breeze. She looked calm, almost angelic, but something about her stillness sent a chill down his spine.
“Amrit!” he called, his voice echoing endlessly through the hollow space. She turned , slow, graceful , her eyes meeting his, glistening with tears that didn’t fall.
“Akshat…” her voice was soft, distant, carried by the wind. “It’s time to go.”
“Go where?” he shouted, stepping forward. “No! No, you can’t go! Amrit… ruk jao! Please!”
His footsteps echoed against nothing, every sound swallowed by the void. He tried to reach her, but every step made the distance grow wider. Her figure became smaller, drifting backward as though an invisible force was pulling her away.
“Amrit!! Please… mat jao!” His voice cracked as panic filled his chest. His hands trembled as he ran faster, tripping, falling, still pushing himself up again. The ground beneath him began to blur, dissolving like smoke.
“Akshat… you’ll be fine.” Her voice came again, gentle but heartbreaking.
He shook his head violently, his heart pounding in his ears. “I won’t! I can’t! Without you, I can’t,”
And suddenly, she was right in front of him , just a few feet away. He could see her face clearly now, the small smile curving her lips, her eyes full of love and pain all at once. He reached out, fingers trembling, desperate to touch her , but as soon as his fingertips brushed hers, her form flickered like a dying flame.
“Amrit!” he screamed, clutching at the air where she had been.
The light around her began to fade. She whispered one last thing , “Keep your faith… in me.”
And then, she was gone. Just… gone.
The world collapsed around him. The ground gave way, the fog turned black, and all he could hear was his own ragged breathing and the hollow echo of her name bouncing around in the emptiness.
“AMRIT!! PLEASE!!” he shouted into the darkness, his voice breaking completely. “COME BACK! AMRIT!”
The air grew cold. He fell to his knees, his chest heaving, tears burning his eyes. His hand reached forward again and again into the void, trembling, desperate , but there was nothing left to hold.
